As we embarked on a kitchen renovation project we discovered upon removing the old cabinet bulk head that there was a lot of wet material and mold. We had a timeline for delivery of the cabinets and the project was in danger of grinding to a halt. After some research I decided to call Rainbow, a company who has the experience to help manage and accomplish the mold mitigation process and also the ability to restore the structures. They are also accustomed to the great sense of urgency required to deal with such damage, and even though the issue we had was not catastrophic, it had to be dealt with that way to keep the project on track. Rainbow delivered, with Crystal coming to see the issue almost right away and for free! We coordinated with roofers to fix the root cause which was an improperly sealed plumbing roof vent. Rainbow had all the materials analyzed for asbestos so we could do the kitchen demolition without worry about breathing the fibers. Kelly removed the rotten materials and replaced them with fresh, more modern ones (studs, drywall, vapour barrier, rock wool insulation). This was all done while minimizing any spread of dust from drywall and insulation. Kelly was a real pleasure to work with; flexible and patient, and I feel I made a friend. The finished work looks great and I am confident to move forward with the kitchen installation, which is happening right now and on time. What a great company! I am delighted by their service and quality, and these days that is a rare thing to say.
