Community Drywall & Lathering

Sam's a busy fellow and the quality of his work tells me why. We needed a drywall patch in a bedroom to replace drywall and insulation removed as a result of mould remediation. Sam was able to do it quickly, (other companies couldn't get here till November or December.) and within budget. There was little dust or debris when done. He warrantees his work for a year, and it was perfect. Wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any future work!

Was very pleased with Sams work. Explained to me the steps he was going to take for removing it. And he cleaned up after job was finished.

Sam did an excellent job last month repairing the drywall on the ceiling of our kitchen and bedroom as there had been water damage from the unit above. His price was reasonable and he finished the job within the time frame that was given. This was for a rental property so he was also especially considerate about working around the tenant's schedule which is greatly appreciated for any landlord. The first three pictures are before and the last two pictures are after the repairs.

Sam is an excellent person to hire. He tells you upfront about the complexities, if any and addresses any concerns. He is honest about what works and what doesn't. He did an excellent job on patching up the dry wall in my basement bath which had to be redone because of a leaking pipe. I would highly recommend him. After his work on the basement bath, he is my go to person for any other fixes and renovations.

Community is an excellent company to deal with totally professional, we would highly recommend them.
We had our entire dining / living room ceiling replaced (water damage) and painted. Sam came and provided a quote and then a contract.
HIs attention to everything , floor protection, draping to contain dust, cleaning up each day, even did extra work to make the project look better.

We hired Sam to turn our unfinished basement into a useable space for our family and boy did Sam deliver! From the very first meeting Sam was friendly, polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable. We needed everything done: roughing, insulation, electrical, flooring, painting, staircase refinishing. Our basement was very uneven - sloping floor, wonky staircase, awkward plumbing and Sam arrived every day ready to work and turned it into probably our favourite room in our whole house now! Really great communication throughout the whole project and absolutely fantastic workmanship. Highly recommend Sam!

Very professional, fast and was a able to do everything asked. Prices were reasonable and the job came out perfect.

We hired Sam to repair and finish the opening from the Dining Room to the Kitchen. We have to enlarge the opening to be able to move our new refrigerator into the kitchen as both the existing openings were too narrow. I was able to remove the existing steel frame and get the fridge installed.
Same came by to get a good look at the job requirements and we agreed to go ahead with the job. Same came in on Saturday morning and completed the job on Sunday evening.
The completed job looks like the apartment was not touched but the opening was widened and finished very professionally.

Sam was absolutely amazing. We had to gut our entire house and hired Sam to do all the work. He redid and reconfigured our entire kitchen layout (he knocked out a wall to make it open concept and custom cut our cabinets to fit the new layout). He cut and installed all new laminate flooring, including baseboards and casing. He redid our stairs and added new risers and kicks. He patched up the drywall around the entire house. He was professional, clean and highly reliable. All the work finished on scheduled time with no delays. We are so happy with his work and will only be going with him for any future work.
