We had an absolute nightmare working with Zarina and Paras. We found them online, not referred by anyone. We regret that decision for life. Zero customer service. We will definitely not come back, we do not recommend them at all. (This is the 1st time in writing a negative review)

Zarina holds you by the contract you sign. 'Only this is in the contract' or 'its not in the contract' or 'its additional scope you'd need to pay' is what you hear. No attention to details, all the numbers were wrong, we had to go over each and every detail.

If you have free money to give away, you can definitely hire them.

For those of you who have time, here are the details:

They make you feel very insecure and push to get the full service done through them. Very manipulative behavior.

At several points me and my husband decided to stop the project but Paras would convince us to continue. They were never true to their words, they talk well until they get paid and abandon the project after.

We had people laugh at us seeing the ceiling that they delivered. Initially we wanted them to rip their work off and build it from scratch but we even compromised the finish and asked them for a fix. We had to argue with them for days, and finally they abandoned us without giving us the credit that they agreed.

Their design had technical difficulties, for which we had to come up with workarounds. No returns were accepted, they charged heavily in the form of restocking fee and shipping fee.

We started with just the interior design (space planning, lighting and furniture procurement) for our newly constructed house. Usually we do this on our own, this is not the 1st time we are buying a house. But this time, we wanted to take professional help to reduce our stress. But we had to go through weeks of enormous stress.

The project was delayed, we had to postpone our move. The estimates changed on site. They started complaining of everything that is common for a newly constructed building. They had no knowledge about the site conditions. They abandoned the project without finishing. They don't pick our calls anymore.

Even with just the designing piece of work, they never put in any effort. They replicated the Pintrest images we shared. They failed to do even that for few other rooms. We never saw an interest or enthusiasm.

Almost complete house renovation including a brand new laundry room and completely redone washrooms which all look amazing.

Xeen Designs went above and beyond in finding creative solutions to achieve what we wanted. Truly cares about the customer and the project and the passion was both appreciated and needed throughout the reno to bring it to a successful conclusion.

Zarina did a fantastic job with our interior design. Our ask was a very different, She included modern look with my family life style.
The layout of our house is old, her suggestions with paint color and furniture layout made a huge difference.

I am very excited and happy to see how my kitchen turned out. Everything I needed, I wanted and more in my space. Xeen team is very efficient and helpful when it comes to understanding the family's need and suggesting the best solutions.

Earlier this year, I got a recommendation to use Xeen Designs from a friend. My husband and I have no design sense but wanted to make our new house's interior design a lot more elegant than we have done in the past. We were also a challenge in that we have no clue as to what we wanted, liked or examples of inspiration. Xeen Team was beyond patient with us and came up with such great ideas for us that we never would've come up with. We are looking forward to doing more work with Xeen Designs on the rest of our house. What a great service!

I was really impressed with Zarina when she came for our appointment. She is warm, easy to work with and clearly very knowledgeable. We accomplished so much during the two hour consultation. I love that she gave me some suggestions to "tweak" the layout of my furniture to pull the room together, suggested a few paint colors for each room to narrow my options from the vast amount of choices out there and even helped me figure out how to hang lanterns on my ceiling for an upcoming party. And I appreciate that she makes herself available after the consultation for follow up questions. I will definitely be using her services again when I need to shop for additional furniture.

We hired Xeen Designs to help us renovate our unfinished basement and giving suggestions on floor plan and finishes for the space. They were great at giving us ideas and obtaining permits etc. They did an excellent job within our budget and maintained a fair time line.

I couldn't be more satisfied with the services and support provided by both Zarina and Paras, of Xeen Designs. My second floor bathroom needed a full reno. They understood exactly what I needed and chose everything to my liking. Very well within the budget. Honestly, they gave me tons of tips for my home decor and pretty useful ones. I definitely recommend them.

She is really good in her job. She knows what she is talking about and also very punctual. She gave me a mock up and 3d rendering of my room and sent me a mood board to make my own purchases.
