Green Summer Landscaping was unprofessional and frustrating to work with.

We reached out initially as we had water pooling issue in our backyard that was caused by the planter with cedars planted inside, and we wanted to resolve this.

John and his team got back to us and we told them our vision: we wanted the planter removed, the cedars replanted to ground level so that they're even with the rest of the grass and river rocks to cover the soil, and install drainage pipe for proper drainage to address the water pooling issue.

John told us it could be done and gave us a reasonable quote. He seemed confident so we decided to go with them and the frustration started with booking the job date, which they were not able to fully commit on the time and date.

When John came out to do the job, we were surprised to see two elders with him as his team, who didn't seem fit for the job. We were concerned as the day was hot with no shade. They began the work nonetheless, paid them half at the start, but it took a lot longer than what John originally told us it would take and most of their time consisted of driving back and forth from waste depot to dump materials and grabbing materials from home depot.

When they finished the job, it was not at all what we had expected. The cedars were left uneven, the end of the drainage pipe was protruding from the soil as it was not installed deep enough, and there weren't enough river rocks to cover the soil.
When we told them of our dissatisfaction of the job, especially the cedars, they were very quick to tell us replanting the cedars wasn't what they agreed on doing.

We ended up having to call another contractor to fix their mess and get the job done to what we envisioned. (See photos for reference: 1. Before- our backyard with planter; 2. after John's team deemed to be finished; and 3. after another contractor came to fix it.)

Our experience with John and his team was the absolute worst and we would not recommend them to anyone.

They repaired my front door interlocking steps. The work was done quickly and looks good.

Oscar was referred to us by our friends and he did not disappoint. His team members Lee and Yu worked 3 very long days and did a great job.
We were also impressed that Oscar suggested for us to meet him at the stone facility to see first hand what the colors and styles looked like compared to the Banas booklet. I am sure once our railing is installed it will all look truly amazing!!!

Andrew and his team did such an amazing job in our backyard. They did a beautiful interlocking patio area, created a path to the patio area, removed our weeds and did sodding. As well, they waterproofed our home. We are so happy with the final result as it truly has made a huge difference on our backyard and we look forward to enjoying it. I had originally contracted Andy and his team only to renovate a rotted deck and replace with a stone patio. However, the June rainstorms ended up leading to a flooded basement from a cracked old window frame. Andy was very accommodating, and was quickly able to pivot to waterproofing the exterior of the house, from repairing eavestroughs on the roof to patching old cracks in the foundation within 1-2 days. We eventually proceeded with the backyard renovation, after a brief waiting period for replacement windows to be made and installed. As this was our first major outdoor renovation, we had lots of questions; Andy was very patient with us and would spend time after hours to address our concerns.

Each portion of project took only 2-4 consecutive days from start to finish, a testament to Andy's ability to coordinate material and personnel. Throughout the process, Andy would periodically update with pictures, and would also respond promptly to questions I had.

I'm extremely impressed with the efficiency of the process and the quality of work, and will definitely be contacting Andy again for future renovations.

John and his team understood their assignment and delivered. Feel very lucky to have been reached out by the team. 100% recommended.

The work was so well done my neighbour decided to do our adjoining fence. I had decided to do just one side and the back, as well as laying new sod for most of my backyard. As we worked along I kept adding some more work and that was done at the same time. He men worked very efficiently . After I saw the wonderful job that had been done to my backyard, I asked Andy to re sod my front lawn as well. He was back in a few days to do that work which was again done perfectly. My neighbours say all this work and was wondering if I was going to sell my house, which was not what I was planning
