After coming back from vacation Zoraway from Power said we had contaminated soil. We had no buried tank. The cost was 28 000 for remediation without certification or anything. He would not let us see where the soil was trucked. It all happened so fast. Then after a while we were no longer worthwhile clients and he abandoned the job without excavating the laneway home, which was a part of the agreement. We had to spend 11 000 for someone to finish Power's job. Worst the pipes he initially laid for drainage were all cracked and broken due to the problems that were created with the soil removal and improper backfill. All in all the judge awarded us 12 000 for the abandoned job, but the broken pipe situation was difficult because our witness did not show up for trial. We did not even attempt to get money for the contaminated soil as that was a confusing mess. We spoke to other homeowners and we are one of many victims. Ever wonder why such a company that receives hundreds and thousands in business tries to hide from google and has a false address?
New home build. They were caught burying my demo foundation in the property. They dumped 20-25 loads of contaminated dirt on the property and did not remove it. They were digging out numerous holes into undisturbed soil to bury the contaminated soil they dumped and used the clean soil for other jobs. When they were caught they left and didnt come back. This is a court case.
