Over the past 6 months we noticed Montemayor signs popping up at our neighbours houses, some of them even more than once. Seeing that they had repeat business next door gave us faith that they were doing great work, and we were right!
We have multiple jobs we want done throughout the house, and decided to start small with a closet renovation. We boarded up one wall (closet) and expanded it in the adjacent master bedroom.
The new wall looks perfect. Paint matches exactly, trim and chair molding looks like the original builders put it there (except brand new!). The closet is big, fresh, clean, symmetrical and functional.
The Montemayor team did their absolute best to keep construction dust contained. Plastic wrap was taped to the ceiling and walls creating a construction zone, and protective mats were put down the path of travel throughout our home.
I had some crazy ideas that Santiago graciously humoured for me, and even came up with solutions on how to get it done. We ultimately decided to go in a different direction to keep costs down, but the fact he took the time to work through it with me was extremely appreciated.
I could go on with even more examples of why they were so great to work with, but this review would turn into a novel. In the end, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Montemayor to anyone looking for a general contractor, and in fact have already done so.
