The company and these guys are don’t know anything about Landscaping. The took all money in advance, never show-up, never keep the promise, did not complete their work. Don’t go with them. After day one when they took all money in advance, never show up, no customer service at all, never pick up the phone, never response to your text messages. After multiple call and text messages they show up after 17 days and asked for extra money for express service. Starting work after 17 days is there express service. What a shame. They left my work in middle and asking for extra money for express service. 17 days later is express service now you can imagine what kind of company and guys they are. Put wrong stone, we choose karera and they install grey mix without polymeric sand without sealent in between. They left all old stone and garbage and asked extra money for removal although it’s included in our contract. They have to install two flower bed with two plants , just make one flower bed and no any plant and told me he forget to bring plant. Highly unprofessional. I give them zero number out of 1000. Don’t go with them. Spend more money and go with professional guys not these cheap and unprofessional guys.

Hired these guys based on price…mistake. The “owner/manager” seemed knowledgeable but his crew ( although they worked hard ) did not. The equipment they used kept breaking and were inadequate for the job. The land was not leveled well after the sod was put down…called numerous times to get it rolled again with a promise to be there the next day…3 weeks later, they still haven’t showed up. In places, they laid new sod on top of old grass and said that it was fine. I had to go out and redo that section myself. DEFINITELY get a holdback or only pay 50% and the other 50 after you are satisfied with everything. The sod they laid did look good, but they were very messy and did not clean up immediately after the job was done. Waited 2 or 3 days before they came to get the rest of the old sod and do their version of a clean up. They apologized for not getting back to me, said they would be there the next day to “make it right” and never showed up again. Pay a little more and go with someone with more than 1 or 2 star reviews! I DO NOT recommend them!

Made a mistake going with the cheapest company. Sod installed in backyard and side yards with four cedar hedges planted. Site manager seemed knowledgeable during quote and consultation. On day of install, two guys arrived that seemed like they were just hired with very little experience. Machine to tear up old yard was broken which delayed the job and soil to be put underneath didn't come until the afternoon. Job was rushed and done hap-hazardly as they had to finish by day's end. Ground was bumpy and they left a lot of the existing landscape underneath which started growing through the sod several weeks later. Some areas died quickly due to improper drainage and insufficient soil underneath, while other areas still very bumpy. Follow up was non existent.

Spend more elsewhere.

Its been over a week now from what they had promised to complete within a day, gave them 2 days to a even a whole week, but they cant even finish the job on time a total of 600sqft. when they do come. they hurry the job and leave after an hour. no attention to detail.

calls and emails not a reply , no follow up , and when they do come they tell me that they will be back the next day between 8am and 10am, to Finish the job..

600sqft and ran out of sod 2 times, a professional company who has been doing this for a while would know how much sod to bring in the beginning when measuring sqft.

no levelling of dirt just grass rolled on top of old dirt. and no solution for weeds as mentioned in contract. no clean up after each job, job still remaining, back yard still incomplete and curbside in complete and front 2 bushes..

do not pay upfront pay half or 10% only. make sure they finish the job and then pay them, even if their contract says need full payment before starting job, this is the reason you will be tied in. but breach of contract and not finishing the job. i have started a report with this company into fraud with PRP and consumer watch list..

i would not recommend this company at all, see pics below.
a bush stump they could not remove and wanted $170 more but me and brother dug it u with a shovel after wards but they couldn't do the job.. they just put grass over the stump.. what a joke.

although they work hard, the grass is green! good SOD, but no punctuality. if you don't have time to do a job, don't take on the work.

if they do come back on their own by saturday and complete the job id be more than happy to write a good review .

I found Bridgeway Landscaping service through Kijiji and unfortunately choose them over others for Sod installation. They are unprofessional and Unreliable.
Key Points:
1. No regular and clear communication about the time and job
2. Owner doesn't pass correct info to workers and they end up rushing your job
3. Miscalculate the job and get it done haphazardly
4. Leave the property in mess
5. Offer 1 yr. warranty but would not pick up the phone next day
6. Lawn solutions application listed in quote but didn't perform
7. Leave dry patches

Please refrain from using their service.

Lesson Learned: Never Pay in advance otherwise you're struck
