What started off on a phone call with professional Office people, setting me up for a move the day of the move, after submitting my inventory list… The movers sent me a very small truck. Not only did we delay the move as they tried to call the office to sort this out that only opened at 9 AM (ridiculous)!!! They then, had to do multiple trips, costing me A lot more than I expected. They did not handle fragile items properly even though they were labelled and packaged securely. They broke multiple things. they offloaded items from their truck that did not belong to me. Items were missing the following day as we were unpacking, that they had to come back to brain and sort out as they mixed up inventory with another move !! (Nightmare) and when reaching out to them for broken pieces, and the missing pieces…. I found a way to blame customer rather than acknowledging what they did wrong! Finally after disputing with them they offered $.60 per pound on insurance they had me sign for the cover visas that were worth over $500. I would absolutely not recommend them to anyone!

At Top Town Movers, we never blame any customer for any inconvenience, but we do take into consideration different factors. When customers submit incorrect inventories, it does lead to problems, as we sent out an email stating we are not responsible for any inventory that is not listed. In addition, packaging was not done by Top Town Movers, and everything was handled with care. None of your items were hit against the wall or dropped, the movers took caution with all your items.
Also, all your items were returned to your final destination and your concern regarding your damaged items were escalated. You have submitted 2 items that were damaged, and we have been waiting on the links, so we are able to proceed with the reimbursing process. Without, any links to the items that were damaged, it is hard to identify the weights of the items that were damaged during your move. Our sales manager Saba and sales representative Parth have tried contacting you everyday since the day of your move, as you called in and emailed us regarding these damages, but you have made no response. We have emails with stamped date and time and recorded phone calls.
In addition, a 3% extra charge is applied when paying by visa and if you like I could send me more information regarding that. Also, as stated at the start of the move, and when the contract was given to you it states that the basic insurance coverage is $0.60 per pound. Please send me the links to the items that were damaged, we can either repair it or reimburse you based on the basic insurance coverage of $0.60 per pound.
