Alartco Windows & Doors

Alartco Industries provides excellent products and fantastic customer service. The windows and doors are top quality, and were delivered right on schedule. Communication was excellent, and Tony was very patient waiting for our decisions and accommodating changes. I always prefer to work with small family run companies, and Alartco fits that description, offering as good or better quality products as the bigger guys, with much better service.

Two issues:
The windows were 5 weeks late with no follow-up call, I had to call.
The digital locks were not checked after install and as a result did not properly work. I spent several hours on the phone with the manufacturer and ended up fixing the issue myself, because it was the weekend.
Alartco offers no service on the weekend, which turned out to be an issue for me (see above why). They did however follow-up on Monday.
I would recommend them and use them again, but the lock issue certainly cause me a headache and a few hours of my own time. The windows and doors themselves were great, so for me it was more an issue with the installer.

We needed a window renovation badly! I started doing the usual internet research and asking for recommendations. I got the Alartco names from a friend and phoned them for a quote. This small family business was excellent from start to finish. They built the windows in one month and the crew installed them in 3 days on a 2600 sq. ft. house. The windows are beautiful and energy efficient. The price was better than the large commercial companies. They also put the oak trim back on the interior side of the windows - nobody was willing to do that. Absolutely great little company.
