Poor Service, Unresolved Issues and not accountable
Review: I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with Icare Appliance Repair. I contacted them through LG to have my fridge repaired under warranty. While the part was covered, I was charged $500 for installation. The technician replaced the compressor, but in the process, he disconnected the water line for the ice maker. He reattached the line, but it had a dripping leak that went unnoticed for several days, eventually flooding our basement.
When we called them to fix their mistake, they refused to come back unless we set up another service call through LG, effectively getting paid twice for their error. The technician returned the next day, looked at the fridge, and told me to call a plumber, offering no further explanation and only saying that his manager would call me.
The manager did not call until the next day and claimed they had no responsibility for the leak. I explained that the plumber confirmed the leak was caused by their technician, and I questioned how a fridge that had been in place for eight years suddenly developed a leak right after their service. The manager simply told me to contact my insurance company, leaving me with a $1000 deductible.
This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I am deeply disappointed with the lack of accountability and customer service from Icare Appliance Repair.
