The Deck People

My deck builder told me not to stain my deck when it was built, but after a few years it started to look horrible. I hired a painter to stain it and it looked great for a season, but a year later it was peeling everywhere. The Deck People promised they could fix it, so I gave them a shot and was NOT disappointed! They sanded all the old stain off and put on an oil that looks 10x better than the last job.

It's been 2 weeks, and I think it looks better now than the day they finished the job. Dan, Dustin, and the entire team exceeded expectations.

The Deck People were incredibly knowledgeable and talked me through the entire process. The products they use made our front deck/stairs transformed from generic to the talk of the neighbourhood. We will be using them again when we redo the back deck.

Had old brown aluminum windows painted to black to match new siding on a century home. Dan and crew did a great job. Was on time , competitive price, didn't finish till I was completely happy with work. I would recommend them to anyone who has outside painting needs. I intend to hire them for all my painting work going forward. Cant say enough good things about this company

Outstanding staining of an 80 ft. fence. Aaron, Duncan, Jason and owner Dan just finished with a solid stain (dark gray). They were meticulous with prep, the staining and the clean up! We paid a carpenter separately to replace rotten boards. The crews arrived quietly and got the most out of their day. They worked well together. We appreciated the willingness to listen to us explain certain things and the co-operation that resulted. Chris did a phenomenal job power washing the patio which was suffering from algae. It was day and night. Sebastian solved several problems. One of which was putting a tarp over the car in the garage. It prevented any drip from the freshly stained garage door when it was opened over top of the car. Alex, Marvin and Curtis also solved other problems as we went along that led to a great result. Thanks to the team. Dustin speaks enthusiastically about the job and his crews. He does not exaggerate. They are trained, keen, time and safety conscious. Well done.

Calling them “the Deck People” doesn’t do this team justice. We had Dan and his team do an entire exterior makeover including cleaning and staining cedar shake, sanding and painting deck, painting siding, window frames, gutters and doorways. They did it all. And they did it quickly and well! Rarely do you find a company that shows up when they say they will and does what they’ve committed to. Beyond impressed with Dan and his whole team. So easy to communicate with, so professional and so pleased with the final result. They are our new go-to for everything! I would recommend them again and again. You will never regret working with them!

Sebastian and his crew did top quality work cleaning all of our windows and clearing the eaves troughs of debris. They went above and beyond clearing debris and tools found on the roof (left by a neighbour's trades on a past job) and they added a few extras at no cost.

I will repeat business with this amazing crew and I plan to increase the scope of work. This degree of care and quality work is rare.

Reasonable and fair pricing; not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Great value though as they provided a great service. Came on time, did a very thorough cleaning of a lot of windows (over 70 by their count), glass deck railings, and all the eaves and downspouts. The glass cleaning included cleaning all the frames. Downspouts were flushed with water to ensure no clogs. Sebastian and Jacob did a great job.

So far so good. Jacob and Sebastian did a great job of cleaning and brightening my deck. Efficient and took care of the job they were doing. Note - cost not reflective of full project.
