If stairs are all you do, you should be better at it.
I had two three handrails installed by this family owned business. I put off writing a negative review for many months as I don't want to harm someone's livelihood. However, I'm reminded of substandard product I was given. I have renovated my entire house, inside and out, and only hired them because I was thinking of selling the house and my schedule was already full. Their work really, really bothers me because I know I could have done a better job and this is their specialty.
Here are two of the big issues.
- The handrail is a rectangle in cross section, something like 2x2.5". I figured they would come and measure, manufacture, then return with the finished handrail. No. they cut it on site and glue the ends together during installation. The joint isn't smooth between the two pieces. I run my hand over the misalignment every day. AND, they didn't even bring their own glue. I had give them mine.
