This is the second project we have contracted Blackbelt to do on our home, the first was all of our 2.5 bathrooms. Their service is exemplary, from the sit down to walk through the detailed quote to the final cleanup of the finished job site. BB and all their subcontractors are professional, they arrive on time, do their work, and always clean up the site. Katie and Fraser are always accessible, and extremely transparent throughout the process regarding any changes in supply or price due to shipping or other covid related issues which may arise. Katie especially is a role model for women in trades. We strongly recommend Blackbelt if you want reliable, professional contractors who will complete your project on time and on budget, perform quality work to a high standard, and who are lovely to work with.

Black Belt Contracting just completed installation of our kitchen backsplash, flooring and reno to our powder room. Katie, Fraser and the entire team were absolutely awesome. The designers listened to what we wanted and provided us with a great assortment of samples and suggestions. They stuck to the time line promised (in fact they completed the job in less time). The work area was cleaned up at the end of every day. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will call them for our next project that we may have.

To say that Black Belt exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. From start to finish the entire team was professional and polite. We replaced our vinyl siding with Hardie board, now our 30 year old home looks brand new. Fraser and Katie were very transparent through every phase of this project. Vacumming our driveway, garage, sweeping, cleaning up at the end of each day, the crew treated our house with respect. Black Belt was recommended by friends who had nothing but great things to say and now we know why. We are absolutely thrilled with the result and have no hesitation to refer this great company.

We needed a cement pad and a deck structure built for our sunroom The job was done professionally , The crew was on time polite very friendly very professional amazing job done by all I will be using this company from now on for all of my household and backyard renovations very pleased From the beginning of the project to the end of the project even the cleanup was done perfectly this is a great company great people honest people

After looking into Home Depot and other bathroom places that did Reno’s, we researched online and found Black Belt Contracting, boy are we ever glad we did. They had high reviews and has lived up to them plus have gone the extra mile. Fraser was so helpful, knowledgeable and very personable. I could not have met a nicer guy for the job. We had a budget and he worked hard to meet it and was willing to take a hit for us if needed. Fraser genuinely cares about what makes you, the customer, happy. The Black Belt team are all super friendly and helpful and I can’t thank Katherine (Kate) enough for her expertise, knowledge and efficiency. The team worked hard, were fast and cleaned everything up after they finished for the day.(Thanks guys). We couldn’t be happier with our new bathrooms! If We had another bathroom to do we wouldn’t call anyone else but Black Belt. Well worth the money and you won’t be disappointed, Fraser will make sure of it!

I was very happy with Black Belt. From the very beginning they were willing to come out and look at the job and then return with a hardcopy quote, itemized and organized to discuss as well as incorporate my ideas. Fraser and Katie were amazing and expanded on my ideas and exceeded my expectations. Katie is especially talented with her tile work. They are professional, cooperative, reasonable and I'd definitely use them again in the future. Through their excellent craftsmanship and my praise my friends hired them shortly after to do their project.
Also the location for home stars keeps changing but this was in done in Port Coquitlam.

We had our kitchen renovated with Black Belt this year (cabinets, backsplash, countertops, island, etc.).

We were really impressed by the professionalism and quality from the team at Black Belt. In our initial scoping engagements with Fraser, him and Penelope were great at carefully planning the project, without any pressure. Near the final stages (cosmetic, backsplash), Katie was awesome - providing great and creative suggestions to wrap things up. Once settled, her and her crew came in and worked really efficiently.

Total work time was ~ 2 weeks.
