I have hired Wayne and H2O to handle multiple jobs on my home. The first was to install internal weeping tile and french drain on a side on my home where there was no access from the outside. I also had a sump pump and backwater valve installed, and some rerouting of other pipes. From the outset, I found that Wayne was the most courteous contractor of the many I called. He took the time to explain options and also brought my attention to municipal programs that helped reduce the cost--programs no other contractor mentioned to me. There were some issues that arose from the initial job that required further work and Wayne handled those without charging me extra--in other words, he honored the 25y guarantee that came with the work. I subsequently hired Wayne to replace some of my sewer pipes which had a crack in them and I had him install additional closed port values so I could monitor the pipes in the future. I subsequently called him for a water problem I had on the other side of my home and he and his team did a superb job installing weeping time and french drain externally and re-sloping the concrete in the front of my house, where water was also leaking in. I particularly appreciate the work he did on the front since the alternative would have been to remove my porch and have the entire front of the house dug out and wrapped, which would have cost 10X more. He was very honest and said that although he thought what he had proposed would work, he couldn't guarantee it because there was a possibility the water was entering from lower down. However, since he re-graded the front, the basement has been dry.
I have been so impressed with the work Wayne and his team has done that I've hired him to regrade my interlocking brickwork in the backyard and install several catch basins to keep my patio (which is at a level lower than the main lawn) from pooling with water during fierce storms. He did a phenomenal job, including rebuilding a brick wall that was starting to lean over.
One thing I must say about him is he's fair and he'll work with you to make you satisfied. I found the process of getting rid of water leakage pretty stressful in its own right, but having to deal with contractors you don't trust only compounds the stress. I am so glad that I have someone I can trust. He's tried really hard to find solutions to all of the problems I've had with water leakage and he has even handled other jobs for me such as installing faucets, adding stone trim to my walkway, and doing some carpentry that I asked him to do. Some of these jobs are not really his main area, but he did them so that I was satisfied with the overall final result. Most important of all, the problems I called him about are fixed. My basement is dry, the patio and walkway look great, and I've added significant value to my home.
I highly recommend Wayne and H2O.
