Unfortunately, I cannot further recommend Mike, as he does not honour any faulty workmanship but instead advises his clients that they pay for HONDA WORKMASHIP BUT EXPECT BMW QUALITY!
June 2021-Mike's guys including a young apprentice removed 13x13 tiles and installed 23x23 tiles in our foyer and kitchen. The young apprentices was left to do from the Guest Bathroom to the Front Doorway. Shortly after the installation three of the tiles when walked upon can be heard knocking. Mike was called, upon his inspection at he said the tile was solid, to which I disagreed, and when he walked on it again in an attempted to prove his point it knocked and so did the adjacent two.
His remedy was to drill a hole from the subfloor (open basement access) up when he going to do our 2nd floor hardwood floor. YET TO BE DONE.
He was also shown the grouting was already cracking at the door???
That too was to be refilled at the same time. YET TO BE DONE
July 2021-We were away for 10 days, during this time the removal of carpets on the 2nd floor and the installation of engineer hardwood flooring. The job appeared rushed...his crew had dirty hand prints on our new fabric bed!, mattress walls, doors, cracked door casing and damaged baseboard, broken trim to finish at the top of the step... LIKE REALLY. NONE of the aforementioned workmanship issues were corrected either!
To make matters worse I caught Mike UPCHARGED US $10.00 per box on the cost of the material for delivery and having to drive from Mississauga to Hamilton show us samples (once, and please look at your service area). Note, we could have gotten FREE DELIVERY FOR THREE of the stores in our immediate are due to the quantity being purchased.
Mike was to return to do our stairs and I was hoping he will do the right thing and address these issues including cleaning cost of bed. But no, what I got from Mike during our exchange was that we pay for HONDA WORKMASHIP BUT EXPECT BMW QUALITY!
