I had McDonald Forestry remove several overgrown limbs of a large tree and do some general trimming. Steve was extremely quick to provide an estimate for the work, and was able to get the job completed very quickly. They did a great job with the tree, and they left my yard cleaner than they found it. I am very happy with the service they provided and will absolutely use them again for any tree care needs.

I found Steve to be excellent, reliable and honest. He executed an excellent job in cutting down and pruning trees. Even when done I asked him to cut away more limbs near wires and without hesitation, he did it as I was not comfortable with how close the limbs were to the wires. I would recommend hiring him for this specific service.

Steve and his brother completed all the agreed to work over the course of a 7 hour day. They arrived in the time set up and were well equipped to do the cutting and trim work and grind up all the logs and other debris. Steve was very informative and provided me with an estimate cost for the work promptly through email. I found the cost of their services very reasonable and felt I received good value for my money.

Steve at McDonald Forestry promptly replied to all of my inquiries, even after a neighbour popped by and took down a number of them. The one remaining tree was a tall cedar that was beyond my neighbour's abilities.

After a quick email exchange, the crew from McDonald Forestry came the next business day to remove it. They even took away the brush from the other trees that had been felled!

Steve sustantially pruned three very large trees for myself and neighbours on either side. He arrived when he said he would and completed the work in the estimated time. He took our concerns into account and together with his own expertise did a great job. He is meticulous about safety, both human and property. My yard looked cleaner at the end of the job than it had before he arrived! I highly recommend Steve's forestry services.

I looked for a reliable and affordable tree care professional for two year. I collected cards and tried to get a decent estimate. I was alwaays shocked at the price. The estimate never balanced out to a reasonable calculation for hours anm labour and cost of equipmewnt. In short there was a lot of "ripping off" and I refusd to be played.
