Very poor treatment of a long time customer who dared to speak to the boss.
This is a sentence in the president's story about his father and BlueJays history. "Blue Jay was built on the core values of Customers First, Humbly Confident, Integrity, Reputation and Persistence." After buying their sprinkler system & being the best customer we could be for 13 years they cancelled their opening & closing service of that system. Why, because I had the audacity of wanting to speak to the president about an incident with our system. It flooded half the front yard during the night after they opened it. It took me a month of being insistent upon speaking to him to receive his call. I asked him if he was aware of the details of what happened. He said he was aware of it. I thanked him for calling and told him I just wanted to make sure he knew what happened. My wife & I were very surprised at how unfriendly the call was but did not let it bother us. They completed the closing in the fall. When I contacted them about services for 2023 I received an email that they had made changes to their services and would no longer provide us with any. We are in our late 70s and have no idea how to open or close a sprinkler system. They did not care & obviously felt I was too pushy wanting to speak with the boss. It was the new Business Manager who insisted I had to speak to him only. He taped our call without notifying me he was doing so. Be very careful with this company because this is not a company that values the customer first anymore. They are very good at what they do but someone has a childish thin skin & you will definitely not come first with BlueJay Irrigation.
