Ken had agreed to clean, sand and then paint our kitchen cabinets. However, on the day the job started, he started painting directly onto the cabinet without sanding or cleaning. When I asked him about it, since the job had changed without any prior warning, he became angry and walked out, leaving our cabinets in a half painted state and has not returned our deposit.

The owner of this company is continuing to make up stories here. Everything in his response is a complete fabrication. Little did he know, I have surveillance video cameras throughout the inside and around the outside of my house and have all the security video evidence to prove it. This client badgered us from the start... read it previous reviews... they speak for themselves.
3 workers were laboriously working and engaged with the task at hand... when over and over the clients son would come in the kitchen and question us and as if we were going to do a good job?
The clients son was asked to leave and allow us to work...
when he refused... company owner Ken Blackburn asked him if he knew what he was talking about and if he had ever had previously done such a task of painting kitchen cupboard doors himself? Clients son kept arguing with us and made it impossible to work... upon which time it was decided that we would pack up our tools and leave.The client called the cops and lied to them about owner Ken Blackburn being violent and angry and very aggressive as we were leaving and packing up the car.
The clients son should have at best been restricted from jobsite but rather made workers feel very uncomfortable!
CONDOpainting.ca prides itself on having a very compatible team who responds favorably in often pressing situations time and time again.
It is very unfortunate that this occurred today with the clients son. However, be advised that there is more to the story than the son admitting above in his malicious rant.
