Mac Donald Construction Group

We hired Chris to build a deck for our home, trusting him enough to pay a significant portion of the cost upfront. At the time, he wasn't incorporated under MacDonald Construction Group. As newlyweds and new homeowners, we were particularly vulnerable. Unfortunately, after receiving the payment, he disappeared with our money, and we never heard from him again. It took considerable effort to trace him and the company, and fortunately, he had kept the same cell phone number. Although this incident happened in 2015, the experience of dishonesty and betrayal has stayed with us. It was a tough lesson learned, and we will pursue civil litigation. I want to warn other homeowners to avoid falling victim.

Chris was a pleasure to work with - talented, trustworthy, patient with changes and additions to the original plan, reasonable with regards to price..and my dog loved him. That was really important!
