The complete opposite of every other moving experience Ive ever had. Reliable, kind, everything looks great and in perfect condition, price was reasonable. They communicated well leading up to the move. Moving is usually stressful but with these guys it was not. We were moving from hamilton to mississauga and went with full service packing and it was so seamless, I recommend you spend the money to do this. Its worth it. They even moved my plants, I couldn't find anyone else to agree to that. I'm sure they're all great. Thank you SO MUCH for everything, Number 1 Moving!!

They handled a big move from hamilton to Vancouver quickly and easily, kept to their projected time, got everything over with zero damage, and were fun to work with. You wont find a better moving company in the area and theyre a better deal than other movers who have higher rates and worse service. They took all the anxiety out of moving and made the whole process simple, easy, and fast.

This guys were so awesome!! Super transparent about estimates and costs. They were efficient and took great care to wrap anything delicate up. Friendly, attentive, put everything back together in my new home. Even better, they came in WAY under the estimate which was amazing. Moving can be super stressful in the city, especially trying to find parking. They took a lot of that stress away. THANK YOU!! Couldnt recommend enough.

They were super efficient, precise, and cordial. Its the second time Im using Number 1 Movers, and theyve been great both times, from timely replies while organizing the move to the actual move. I hope I wont need to move again soon, but if needs be, I know who will take care of it.

Incredible experience with them! Communication was extremely clear and efficient leading up to the move, even with a change in customer service rep during the process. My movers were wonderful to work with. They were professional, kind, efficient, and demonstrated quality work. They were able to pack up my studio with over 30 boxes and several furniture pieces into their truck in under an hour (while sharing a double-booked freight elevator). Crew was especially careful and effective wrapping all of my fragile items and furniture (there was a lot!!), and I expierenced no damages. Once at the new apartment they placed everything where asked and rearranged with care and patience. The whole move took about 3 hours which was a pleasant surprise. Cost was slightly more expensive than some other quotes I received but still well below several others. I went with Number 1 Movers because of the consistently positive reviews, and I am so glad I did.

They were punctual, efficient, quick and amazing. Everything went great and timely. I felt comfortable and secure with them transporting band handling the furniture. The pricing was also the best out of all the quotes we got and they were recommended to me by a friend who was also more than pleased with their move. Highly recommend . Also to mention the booking process was really easy and convenient no crazy deposits like other companies require, just a small amount to hold the date. Just professional, affordable, quality, seamless moving experts. Extremely happy with the service all around :)

I recently used Number 1 movers for a move from Barrie to Oshawa. They did an exceptional job! It was a tricky move in regards to the access getting out of the old place and then having to navigate three flights of stairs at the new place, but they handled it well and all of my stuff arrived in great shape. I got three quotes before booking them and their prices are competitive with a companies in the area. They had great communication on move days and I always knew when they were going to arrive and what the next step was. They are a great company to work with and I will absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company!

This was the first time we used a professional company to do our moving, and I was so very happy with them, but most of all the Movers that came out. They were very careful with our belongings, also knowledgeable and very professional, but most of all kind and patient with myself as I was nervous with letting strangers move all my truly loved glassware. We would and have already recommended this moving company to others in our old neighborhood and our brand new neighborhood. Thank you to Number 1 movers for making our move so easy and wonderful.

We called on these guys in Jun-2022 for a local move in July. There was some internal communication problem with the amount of boxes that needed to be packed, although it was included on their quote. However, their crew had enough supply in their truck to be able to complete the move with no problems and they did a good job. Based on this I would had given them 4 stars, but the reason I moved it to 5 stars, is because they took care of the small furniture damage that happened during the move. They sent the furniture repair man to our house and he did a great job. This action shows true customer service. I would recommend them to anyone with no hesitation.

They arrived on time, began working immediately after reviewing everything we needed to have carefully packed and in what order we wanted it packed.
We originally contracted for four people but after thinking it over we ended up using six people and it really was a smart move and ended up saving us money.
We could not be more pleased with their careful packing, especially because we have so much kitchen items and dishes. (Each dish was singularly wrapped and marked accordingly.)
And finally, when it was time to put it all in the storage place we ordered it was nothing short of a miracle that The team got everything in. That alone will save us several hundred dollars a month.
In other words - great service, careful packing / moving and they did their very best to satisfy our particular needs.
