Cornel (Cornelius) replaced the old cork floor with porceline tiles in our kitchen as well as the back stairs and landing. The quality of his work was excellent - he is very skilled, efficient and paid attention to details. There were challenges fitting tiles into the existing millwork, removing and replacing existing appliances - yet he found solutions with excellent results. Cornelius was very friendly, reliable and returned texts/calls right away. His price was clear for each element of the project, and I was able to get tiles at a discount. I am very happy to give him a very positive recommendation and wouldn't hesitate to use him again for other jobs.

We had an older, wood-burning fireplace and chimney that we needed to remove, before we could get a wood stove. Our amazing experience with Cornel began with him responding quickly and politely to our inquiry. He came the same day to give us a quote, and the work got underway soon after. He and his helper removed the indoor brick facade, and the chimney. It was dirty work, but they did it as cleanly as possible, and in a timely manner.
Cornel rolled with the changes as the job evolved - there's always another job that pops up when doing reno! We greatly appreciate his flexibility and problem-solving attitude. Cornel fit a new drop ceiling to match our existing ceiling, and did a stellar job with the tiling, both on the floor platform and the walls. We strongly recommend Cornel to anyone: he is capable, diligent, and imaginative. We are already planning our next job for him! Thank you Cornel.

Hired them to remove a ceiling in the boiler room that was reinforced with steel and suspended over a second story boiler room. They built a platform and safely removed ceiling without damaging any electrical wire/ plumbing/ or the boiler system. Very clean and efficient, they stick to their timeline and are not lazy.

We called Cornel to install our tile last minute.
We needed our front entrance. Bathroom and laundry room tiled last minute money wasnt an issue.
He was very fair and did extra work to correct the previous contractors work. Everything turned out great saved us time and stress doing things last minute he saved the day and night.

Months later we re hired Cornel for our kitchen backsplash which turned out perfect.
