Ftr Contracting

Tom and his team replaced all the baseboards in my home and did such a skilled, tidy and fast job that I asked him to quote on replacing two full bathrooms and a powder room. I was a little nervous because I didn't actually know anyone who had a reno done by Tom but his reviews here were positive. Tom's quote was the best and he and his team got to work. It was a physically challenging job because the full bathrooms were up two and three flights of stairs. Tom and his team plowed through without complaint, worked 7 days a week and got the whole job (plus extras) done in one month. I couldn't believe it. My bathrooms went from ugly to beautiful and I absolutely couldn't be happier. Tom's answer to everything I asked for was "no problem". Love his attitude. He's super-skilled with an eye for detail and getting the job done until I'm happy with it. I'm so relieved I found him. And I'm not letting him go!

tom was wonderful to deal with and he was always on the job. the renovation went very smoothly, and issues that arose, tom was on top of it. I trust tom wang and his staff to do the job right the first time. any further renovation I do , ftr contracting will be doing it.

after we sined the basement renovation contract, Tom bring his professional team ,finish my 1200 sqft basement 3 weeks .I am so happy with their high quality work.

We contacted Tom Wang (FTR Contracting) for waterproofing needed for our basement wall. We had a slow flow of water coming through the sidewall of north side of house where wall connects with floor. Tom arrived as scheduled and inspected all marks on wall, sump pump and space between our and neighbour's house and provided us with a quote which was close to what other quotes we received. Since it is a new house for us, we did not know all past work done to it. Tom listed and explained the works to be done both verbally and via emails (i.e.: replacing weeping tiles, ashphalt, installing membranes, gravel, ensuring flow of water via sumpumps, disconnecting downspout from cityline etc)

Both Tom and his staff are very knowledgable and honest, they gave me a strong peace of mind. With time, We knew that they knew what they were doing and how they were doing. They did not mind all the questions we asked and were happy to answer. Since we plan to live in this house for a long time, we wanted to ensure the work is done right, regardless of the cost. Tom's past work experience and his integrity contributes a lot to the 25 yrs warranty they provide. . Same words go for 'Olson' who works with Tom.
Olson is a key player with dedication to the work FTR contracting does. It took 6+ days for all works to be done due to unexpected rains and lack of space between ours and neighbour's house. This was part of our contract with Tom for all the works they were supposed do. We did not want them to rush and finish in 2 days !!
We are very glad we contacted FTR contracting and will be reaching out to them for other works.

One note for readers: GTA areas been getting lot of rain and it will be like this for while... If you get water leaking issue at basement , make sure you first understand how these basements designs are supposed to work. There are many You tube videos on these. Take your time and watch videos on water proofing.
It will help you select the right contractor. Stay blessed.

Tom did a great job. After one week the 60 ft basement wall waterproof done. Now my basement never leak. I can continue my basement reno and enjoy our new dry living space. Thanks Tom.

I had cracks in the foundation, front and back that were getting larger every year .I called FTR Contracting ,Tom came to the house , he was very professional and explained all that had to he done .Crews were excellent and didn't mind I asked a lot of questions.work was completed and I was so Happy with their work.

we found a crack in our basement an it was leaky during this heavy rain rencently .l calle FTR contracting an received a very quick turn aroun time fo visit . They did thorough job o inspecting not only the crack w noted.but other somilar ones we found.the quote They provided was accurate and the work done was professional in aLl regards.i was very pleasedwith the result and:25years warranty.highly recommen FTR
