Duffins Interlock

Got three quotes to replace some chipped patio stones and replace the edging around the front garden. Leroy's price was competitive and he was able to complete the job quickly within a week before we had family over for Father's Day. Very personable and knowledgeable. LeRoy and his crew (Tim and Pat) did a great job, checking with me along the way to make sure it was what I wanted and cutting down the stones so we were happy with the height. Sometimes it's hard to get someone to work on a small job and Leroy treated it with the importance of a large job. Looks great! Will definitely use him again and recommend him to family and friends.

Leroy came out and was very honest and detailed in his estimate, describing exactly what he wanted to do and what my options were. He knew we were a little budget conscious and so presented options that were budget-friendly. Leroy did most of the work himself, and was friendly and accommodating to questions throughout. Just a nice guy to talk to. He also noticed that our driveway had sunk significantly from it's original height, so he built the steps to the original height for whenever we had the driveway re-done and then installed a 'temporary' extra step at the bottom of the staircase to avoid having too large a drop from the bottom step. I say it's temporary in quotes because, although it's removable, the step looks and feels like it belongs to the rest of the structure and does not feel temporary. Duffins charged a little more than some competitors, but you know you are getting quality work that will last as long as the house will. Definitely worth it, and I'd hire Duffins again in a heartbeat.

Leroy worked single-handedly on this project and started and finished on schedule at a very reasonable price. He cleaned up the look of our front yard by installing the interlocking and he integrated materials we already had so that everything would tie together aesthetically. The design concept he came up with for us was very simple (in a good way) and we were surprised that other competitors were suggesting much more complex (read: expensive) ideas when Leroy gave us exactly what we wanted at a fair price. Our neighbours have complimented the end results and we have not hesitated in recommending Duffins and passing along their contact info. He also left our property with no mess--everything was very clean. Duffins has exceeded our expectations.
