Capital Appliance Repair

Late on a Thursday evening our fridge water door starting flapping and the lights flashing. We emptied the fridge and called Capital Appliance Repair the next morning. They fit us in their busy schedule. Yuri arrived at schedule appt. time and quickly diagnosed the problem. Sadly, a new board required. Good news, there was one available in Toronto. Order was put in and tonight Yuri came back, installed the new board and our fridge is working again. Perhaps an expensive repair, but cheaper than a new fridge and on an fridge that will most likely last much longer. Yuri was friendly, helpful and professional. I hope we don't have to call again but if we do I won't hesitate and will ask for Yuri.

The service man was very polite ,professional, quick . He was here twice ,because of time waiting for some parts, which have to be ordered. We are very happy with his work, and definitely we would call your service men again and recommended to everyone.

First class service. When I called the very pleasant receptionist she was able to book me in a couple of days. The repairman was masked and very courteous. Capital Appliances scheduled an appointment for the day after I called. Two techs arrived on time, identified the problem with the dishwasher and gave me good advice on dealing with the manufacture and its warranty. Both techs were polite and pleasant.

The technician, Yuri, was knowledgeable and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately one of the parts I needed had to be ordered which caused some delay but once it arrived my refrigerator was quickly fixed. He followed all safety protocols and was organized and was careful with my appliance and hardwood floors.

Problem with incomplete closure of lower freezer drawer, resulting in recurrent alarming. Prompt review by technician Oleg, who arrived on time and explained matters well. His interventions succeeded -- no more alarming -- and he proposed phoning us in 10 days to see if the problem has recurred. He also discussed routine change of fluid filter, of which I was unaware, and offered to order the necessary items and return, to instruct me on filter maintenance.
Entirely satisfactory. I shall call them again as needed in future.

It appeared as though our freezer, bottom of fridge, was leaking. The technician quickly deciphered the issue as an ice build up and blocked de-frost plug. He thawed the ice on the bottom of the freezer and fixed the plug issue.

The serviceman was rough, impolite and aggressive in my own house and made me (even as a guy) quite uncomfortable. I kept my phone close in case I had to call for help. He came stayed five minutes, told me that the repair would cost over $1200 and that I should have never bought an induction stove. He charged me $85 for the evaluation. I paid quickly to have him leave the house as quickly as possible. He left without leaving his name, a receipt or even a business card, even though I asked.

The service was unprofessional and the experience quite unpleasant.

Great attention to detail. They made sure to check the dishwasher was level before they left and that was for service on an existing unit, not a new one. I would not hesitate to use them again.
