Mr. Appliance Of Orangeville

Spent no time troubleshooting issue then didn't fix and charged full rate. Could not recommend less.

Mr. Appliance of Orangeville sent someone to the house to do a diagnostics on my fridge. I paid with my credit card and he asked me to put an electronic signature on his Ipad. I was told to call the next day to get a receipt mailed to me.
Later that day I got an invoice for $496 for work that was not done and my electronic signature was used without my knowledge or authorization to say that I have approved the repair and agree to the terms. The email stated that I needed to call them to arrange payment. I did not agree to this. In fact the technician that came to the house said the part was on back order all over Ontario and I would be waiting weeks. I tried to look up the address on the invoice and discovered that it does not exist and now they have my credit card information.

I called Mr. Appliance to repair my oven. They sent out technician David to my home. First of all, I was not home when David called me and said he was outside of my home but someone in my home let him in. When I got home, I could not get on my driveway because he had blocked it with the company vehicle. Then once I went inside, I found David to be very rude. He has no customer service skills, he is not friendly or professional. He spent a long time trying to diagnose the problem then said to me “don’t you have a hood fan?” which was said in a very rude way and since my kitchen is not done being renovated, he could clearly see the hood fan was not there. I am a customer paying for a service and I should feel comfortable with the person being sent to my home. He seemed very annoyed and upset about the repair job because it took him so long to diagnose the problem. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Excellent service from Joshua of Mr Appliance Orangeville. The problem was figured out and repaired within 4 days. (Ordering the part took 2 days)
I definitely recommend this company if you are in the Orangeville area.

The service technician came in a timel manner. He was very personable and friendly but it seemed he wasn't very familiar with our make & model of range. He replaced a part but it still didn't work. I wasn't impressed with his knowledge of diagnosing the problem. Will not be calling them if I need a appliance repair in the future.

From the first visit, by giving me a quote, to the return date of replacing the parts, all the representatives were very courteous and polite.
