Wow 1 Day Painting (Scarborough)

The team from Wow was very professional and did a great job on our bathroom. They patched the ceiling and then painted it perfectly. You would never know it was fixed. Would use them again for sure.

The estimator was on time and quick and the painters were early and ready to work.

Company does not do as they advertise. No onsite quote resulting in their painter complaining about the work getting done in 1 day. Arrived late, no uniform, not even a fan to assist with drying. Poor patching, don't think he sanded and other patch shrunk leaving dimples that were painted over. No walk through of job at end. Any issues, you will find yourself chasing this Franchise Partner & the Customer Experience rep in BC.
My 1 day job will take 2 months as I was left to fix the touch ups & poor patches myself after their run and refund resolution.

All I have to say is...WOW. I needed my condo painted quickly before leaving for the west coast on business. I called Wow 1 Day and Stefano arrived the very next morning to do my free estimate. He was extremely professional, polite and very knowledgeable. He provided me with an estimate on the spot and I hired them to start the very next day. His crew showed up, I left for work, and they were done and cleaned up by the time I got home. My condo was spotless. The paint job was flawless. Words cannot describe how amazing their service is. Stefano also refused to take a deposit, and said I can pay when the job was completed. Just incredible, and very professional.

They left a total mess for me to clean-up. They left a thick layer of dust from prepping and sanding the walls. I had to clean-up the mess they left behind. They refused to follow the instructions for prepping the floor for the floor paint. They left an open can of paint (with the lid missing) hidden in my closet and I only discovered it when I was trying to find what stunk in the closet.

Missed the same part of one wall on both coats of paint.

Paint spilled on broadloom not cleaned up.

Painted latex over oil based paint on front door. Paint came off in sheets.

Clearly visible cracks left on wall surfaces.

Profane language used during fixup and during initial job.

Very professional. I am a demanding customer and they accommodated all of my requests and needs without hesitation. They never once made me feel like I was being a pain in the butt. Very patient and concerned about customer satisfaction. The work was excellent. I noticed 'wax' on one of our walls a few days later. A spot their workers had missed and ended up painting over. I called about it and they came and fixed it immediately. Very attentive. wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Their name says "ONE DAY" but a fellow had to return next day to do 2nd coat. They were a bit late arriving first day. I called at 9am that day to verify, as I had not heard
anything, they arrived at about 9:15. The super. answered my call - voice mail about two hours later. They were a bit rough in removing my drapery rod and curtains in bed room; (old and fragile.) I put them back up myself, next day.
