I requested a full inspection of all the electrical in my house. Not only was Terin professional and punctual but he took the time to explain what he was finding, whether it was an immediate concern that should be addressed right away or something that could wait and then walked me through my options. He also fixed a couple of issues that needed to be addressed immediately. He went above and beyond my expectations (he even fixed a piece of my roof that blew off the house the night before in a wind storm). I would not hesitate to recommend him for any electrical issues.

I am so pleased to give a review to the two very kind gentlemen who came to my house to assess a built-in microwave problem. I thought the issue was a broken down breaker and it turns out it wasn't. Terin & his assistant patiently troubleshooted for some time and discovered that there was nothing wrong with my breaker. They could have falsely said that there was, took the $300 and I wouldn't have known any better. They were both very informative and honest. I appreciate this so very much. They were incredibly professional, reliable, honest, and knowledgeable. Although the issue was the microwave and I needed to buy a new one, I am very satisfied. I would recommend this company to anyone!!

I would highly recommend Therin and his company. Lucas, his assistant, was very helpful . Everything was picture perfect and they performed a few extra services at no charge and offered many suggestions, ie safety. As a senior, I appreciated the free extras. They did a great job of installing the OTR microwave and wiring to the panel.

I chose this company based on Homestar reviews and I was not let down. Terin made time to stop by on his way home the same day that I spoke with him about the electrical problems. He was professional, respectful and explained what he was doing as he worked on items. I appreciated suggestions that he offered relating to things that should be looked at down the road. Cost for service was very good - much less than I had anticipated which is always a good thing! He worked quickly and kept things neat/clean...provided a free electrical inspection which gave me peace of mind. Best review I can give is that I will definitely be calling this company again for any future needs!

Needed to upgrade thermostat wiring because of unavailability of thermostat digital signal units. New wiring and new thermostat. Work was neat and tidy, and suggestions were helpful. The price was good and the workman did a free electrical inspection, found problems in the circuit breaker box, and replace 2 bad breakers for free.

Terin was punctual, professional and informative. He went above and beyond in terms of service snd value. Terin installed a new plug, helped me figure out the best lighting options in the basement and installed an extra pot light at no charge. I would not hesitate to recommend Terin for any electrical issues you have. This is the second time I have used The Real Canadian Electric Co. and will not be the last!

Terin is awesome! I needed an exterior plug replaced, he explained the problem to me and tested the other exterior plug while he was here. He also took the time to inspect my breaker box and gave me some advice on that, as well as recommended new smoke/CO2 detectors & the brand/type I should pick up. He answered additional questions about some lighting in my house as well. I will definitely be using him in the future!! Thank you Terin!

30 year old fluorescent lights in the garage - dim and dingy looking. Terin assured me prior to the visit that he had what I needed - bright efficient lighting. And he delivered! Work quoted and accepted before he transformed the space into the garage that I can work in and see what I'm doing - no comments on the quality of my work! Terin was the utmost professional from start to finish. He corrected the installation (by a previous contractor) of the Telus PureFibre box on the exterior of my house. He fished the fibre cable from the outside through to the basement of my house to the electrical panel. All the work he did, inside and out, was secured neatly. Terin is very competent and knowledgeable and took the time to explain options and expenses. I would definitely recommend Real Canadian Electrical to complete your projects!

This is the second time we've had Terin come out to service our electrical needs. The first time was to fix our main bathroom fan. Of course, the parts were no longer available but Terin worked his magic and found a replacement fan that was more powerful than what we had. Secondly, there was condensation along this bathroom's walls so Terin went up through the ceiling panel in the main bedroom closet to re-adjust our insulation that had been moved to one corner of our house by the gusty wind over time. He discovered that the condensation wasn't moldy and needed a top coat of sealing paint only (thank goodness). Meanwhile, he also replaced our smoke detectors with smoke/CO2 detectors on all 3 floors and ensured that our electrical panel had surge protection on it. Finally, he replaced our kids' bathroom with a fan that had wifi ability so that our kids could listen to their music while in the bathroom. All of this for under $1000!
This time, when we replaced the batteries in the thermostat, it began to smoke so we called Terin. He installed the new thermostat that we bought (after a discussion with him), re-routed wires from our electrical panel and connected the new thermostat to the house fan - all for under $200!
