This is the second time we've had Terin come out to service our electrical needs. The first time was to fix our main bathroom fan. Of course, the parts were no longer available but Terin worked his magic and found a replacement fan that was more powerful than what we had. Secondly, there was condensation along this bathroom's walls so Terin went up through the ceiling panel in the main bedroom closet to re-adjust our insulation that had been moved to one corner of our house by the gusty wind over time. He discovered that the condensation wasn't moldy and needed a top coat of sealing paint only (thank goodness). Meanwhile, he also replaced our smoke detectors with smoke/CO2 detectors on all 3 floors and ensured that our electrical panel had surge protection on it. Finally, he replaced our kids' bathroom with a fan that had wifi ability so that our kids could listen to their music while in the bathroom. All of this for under $1000!
This time, when we replaced the batteries in the thermostat, it began to smoke so we called Terin. He installed the new thermostat that we bought (after a discussion with him), re-routed wires from our electrical panel and connected the new thermostat to the house fan - all for under $200!

I needed to add in 3 new plugs outside, I live in a fully developed house and was told by another electrician that the only way to do this without making a lot of holes inside and a lot of labour was to run conduit around the home.

Real Canadian Electric came out and said no problem and no conduit run around the home, they just needed to add one access panel, they gave me a quick quote and got started right away.

Everything was done quickly and to a high standard, even kept the doors shut to keep the AC in on a very hot day.

They also gave me suggestions on other electrical issues or options and found some issues from a previous electrician.

I have already booked them in for some more services to clean up the problems from the previous electrician, very reasonable rates and personable.

Terin came to our home to help us diagnose an issue with our basement bathroom fan and install a replacement light fixture in our ensuite bathroom.

He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain what his services entailed and the costs associated with each of them.

I particularly appreciated his attention to detail and the time he took to thoroughly inspect our electrical panels and provide interim and longterm recommendations.

We took out a wall in our house. The contractor told me we needed an electrician to complete the work. The man who came did good work. Price was fair.

Excellent response time and service by the Real Canadian Electric team. Terin installed a new bathroom fan I'd purchased at Costco, and also installed a dimmer switch for the bathroom light as well. The options for the job were explained clearly, and completed quickly once settled on. The electrical panel and alarms service checks and advice were much appreciated as well.

We had a breaker go out on us but the breaker itself did not flip. So somewhere along the line there was short of some sort, but I did nit find it. Terin did a complete diagnostic on the area of concern and then proceeded to look at other plugs and switches to ensure the safety of the home. As well, he tested our smoke alarms on his own and with out the extra charge. He was very thorough and provided complete information on his procedures and our electrical situation. I highly recommend his services for great service, communication and professionalism.
