Fast Appliance Repair

We had trouble with our LG oven overheating. Called Fast Appliance Repair and assured us they were certified to repair LG appliances. Their technician arrived and diagnosed that the control board was faulty. Charged $73, then were advised that they couldn't get the part, not LG certified after all, contrary to what we were told! They obviously knew upfront and were completely dishonest with us, looking to make a buck on a 15 minute service call! To make it worse, we contacted LG directly and they provided the names of two local LG certified appliance repair companies. The one we contacted came out, diagnosed the same problem and replaced the faulty control board on the spot and there was 'no charge' because it was under recall by LG unbeknownst to us! I contacted Fast Appliance and challenged them about being deceptive and asked for our money back. We never received it! Dishonest company, we would highly recommend NOT engaging them in your repairs!
