New Roof went from being a 10 star to a 3 star after 6 months.

Living in the Pacific North West. Rain wind lots of trees. If it not raining in the fall winter or spring it is still cool and wet for over have of the year. We are plagued with roof moss and black mold growth. Then having to use chemicals to remove the problem over and over. Then there is the high winds coming off the Puget Sound lifting and ripping off a lot of asphalt shingle roofs. In the fall trees leaves and needles just stick to asphalt shingle roofs like glue. Making the growth problem worse. I wanted a black color roof and no more moss and black mold growth. The other thing I did not want was to replace my roof again. First I so blown away how a Black roof has so little heat coming in. WOW that's real nice. It looks so much better than my I was expecting. Yes a Class 4 approved EnergyStar UL2218 Interlock roofing is the only way to go.
Now update April 2016. Starting back in late March. 2016 I notice yellowing starting to happen on my roof. Only to find out it was pollen and to my surprise it did not just come off. On a small roof on the side of my home I tried removing it with a hose and nothing happened. I tired spray soap I used on my kitchen counter that did not work. I then tried a heavy dish soap and water it di make it lose but you still need to use elbow grease to get it off. That not something you can do. I tried calling and emailing and got one call back only to want a picture with no follow up after i sent an email with the picture they requested. So if you have pollen in your area this may not be the product you are looking for. The leaves etc stay off but the pollen sticks as soon as it rains.

Jeffrey did a wonderful job. Jennifer, who followed up with me, was very nice. The foreman was exceptionally nice and went through everything. He was the liaison between the crew because they didn't speak much English. They were all very professional and courteous.

New roof over house and shed

The house is 16 years old. The roof tiles were beginning to curl and I thought it was time to get a new roof. I consulted a company I had employed in the past and they offered me a roof with a 50 year warranty for about $28,000. I told my optician about their offer and he told me not to use them but to try Interlock. He had had a good experience with Interlock and recommended them to me. He gave me the BBB number to make the connection. Interlock offered me a limited lifetime warranty with a far superior product which is energy efficient, color fading resistant for many years, weather and wind resistant, and environmental friendly made of 95% recyclable material. Up to a degree it is fire resistant, too. Pigeons are not attracted to it and that is marvelous because before I had a lot of pigeons sitting on top of it and getting a lot of droppings from them. Not now.
The work was done in about a week and a half. The workers worked constantly and were courteous and friendly. All spoke Spanish, my mother tongue. That made it pleasanter. I was surprised Hispanics were involved in this industry.
Now I have a new roof from Interlock, new gutters from Leaf Guard, and new windows and doors from the Power Remodeling Group, all with limited lifetime warranty. As a senior citizen, I cannot ask for anything more as my income becomes fixed in a few years.

reroofing

It was time to reroof after 22 Years. The house is in an area with all forms of tree debris: Doug fir cones, needles, sap and pollen, cherries, acorns, maple seeds and leaves. I needed a solution that would free me from cleaning the roof 5-6 times a year. A large area with 5/12 pitch.

Project was started on day scheduled and completed in 3 days.
I am more familiar with commercial contractors and have not always had my expectations met on residential projects.

Workers were very professional, willing to explain what they were doing and a pleasure to work with. The project lead helped do some problem solving as the potential for improvements surfaced post original roof removal. Nice job cleaning up.

This is not an inexpensive solution. However, I am convinced that for owners considering long term performance in lieu of first costs, this is money well spent.

I was in the trades my whole life, and I really thought that Jesse and his crew did a spectacular job from beginning to end. My wife and I are extremely happy with the roof. It is gorgeous. Everything was terrific. I am very pleased with everything about the roof. It was a lot of money, but I feel in my heart that it was worth it. I don't understand why people still use shingles, and the metal roof amazes me. I think you will see a lot more of them in the future once people catch on.

I'd like to recognize Chuck Hauser, the salesman. He was great at explaining everything. I had a lot of questions. Al was also very good to work with. He runs the crews, I think. He was terrific. Jesse and his crew did a spectacular job. Everyone I met from Interlock was terrific.

Best money we've ever spent!

We had our first measurable snowfall the day before Thanksgiving and into Thanksgiving morning. The new roof passed with flying colors! Shawn (my wife) even called me at work to tell me that the snow was sliding off of the roof, and she was loving it. Several days later, our roof was nearly bare. Shawn said it was some of the best money we've ever spent!
We took a drive by the house on Upper Valley Road (near our place) which Interlock also did, and the roof there was clean as well. Hope they are as satisfied as we are. Thanks for a great job!

The roof looks beautiful,i did not hear any difference with heavy rain noise. I thought the metal would be more noisy than the asphalt shingles.I was told by the neighbors it looks just like real slate, I also love the slate look nice! Danny and his crew, very polite hard working, and very respectable at all times. I think they did a very nice job with the roof.

replacement of roof efficient roof!!!

The purpose of this letter is to thank you and recommend your services to anyone who is in the market for a new roof. All All aspects of this project were carried out in a friendly and very professional manner. The workmen were excellent and did a super job of not only the roofing but also the clean ip at the end of each work day.

The new roof has now seen two winters and has performed flawlessly. It is very good looking and people are still asking me about it and complementing me on how it makes the entire property look good. It sheds snow wonderfully and reduced both heating and cooling bills. It is not noisy at all.

As the only guarantee that comes with asphalt shingles is "You will get to do this job again" in less time than you think, your guarantee gives me great piece of mind. As the warranty can be transferred to new owners, your roof is a real investment that makes the property more valuable and salable.

I'm glad I had Interlock do the job and recommend you highly!

Red Metal Slate Interlock Roof, impressive installation team!

I am a picky and hard-to-please customer, and yet so far I am totally elated with the quality, efficiency and neatness well beyond expectation. Too bad I don't have more houses to put Interlock roofs on.
I left for work with the old roof; when I came back, the house sported a new roof in all its shining glory. Kudos to the whole installation team!

New metal roof with Interlock. Very impressed!

I just had an Interlock roof installed, and I am thoroughly impressed. Not only was the installation professional and timely, but also the finished work is impressive to look at. The installers were attentive to even the smallest details. To look at the yard after installation, one would never have known it had just occurred because there was not the slightest hint of residual debris. Best of all, for the first time in the 44 years my family has lived in the house, not a drop of moisture could be detected anywhere during our recent heavy rains. In the past we'd usually find some small area where rain had somehow penetrated the roof, but in the last two heavy rainstorms, everything was dry as a bone. If you're thinking of re-roofing, absolutely consider Interlock.
