Expert Property Enhancements

I had the misfortune* of contacting Jason at EPE to fix my sunken patio floor in 2020. At the time, Everything went well. Jason was friendly and helpful and we worked out a quote (not too cheap!). The work was done on time. However, just six months later, the stones became uneven again. I reached out countless times to Jason over email (and left phone messages) to fix the patio under the three year warranty. At first Jason replied to my emails with very defensive answers (without even coming to look at the stones) as if it was my fault the patio was sinking again! He would promise* to come around "next weekend" that never came for THE LAST THREE YEARS!!!! In 2023 he came and told me he would fix it. Disappeared again and I have never heard anything from him again.
I had been courteous and polite in my emails. I have a record. And I even paid a large sum in cash at short notice when his machine was not working and he was anxious that he had to pay his men.
I guess niceness (plus paying fully for a job) is not enough anymore.
I have kept myself from taking this to the consumer bureau but now I will. As a matter of principle.

We had them complete an interlock job and stairway in our backyard and they did not disappoint! Jason and his team were fantastic from start to finish ensuring our vision was brought to life as expected!
They were efficient and thorough finishing the job within a few days!

We love the finished product and look forward to them completing our driveway extension and front porch in the future!

They did an excellent job, quickly, at a reasonable price. They replaced four courses of brick, got rid of the old concrete cap and replaced it with a metal one. The two men who did the work were polite, communicated well, and cleaned up when the job was completed.

Jason came by our house after doing some work on other homes in our neighbourhood. We had some issues with the patio sinking in some areas and a really impractical and dangerous setup for our front steps. Jason was able to assess the problems and come up with some innovative solutions that allowed us to reuse our existing stones and reimagine the functionality of our steps. The expert property enhancements team also redid the parging for our entire house, something that was overdue as we had several cracks and missing pieces that were exposing our foundation and just waiting to cause bigger problems down the line. We are really happy with the work expert property enhancements did on our property to fix our front patio and parging. We would definitely recommend them! This crew did an awesome job on our place would recommend to anyone. Justin and Jason were great to work with. Punctual and fabulous clean up. Very hard workers !! Temperatures were -39 all week and they never stopped

Chimney needed repairs because bricks were disintegrating. EPE delivered better than we could have imagined. Fast, beautiful work and the team were friendly, efficient and diligent. To us, this was a great investment, adding value to our home and making our patio safer. Thank you Jason and the team!

EPE undertook at short notice a job that was long overdue, to refurbish a 27 ft. section of the stone wall foundation, including repointing sections that had not been touched since the house was built 101 years ago, properly waterproofing it and installing two layers of weeping tile, full depth of crushed stone and topping off the surface with river stone, edging, retaining wall and fresh topsoil. From the day we met the owner, Jason, to assess and estimate the job, till completion, was just over 3 weeks!! The foreman and Jason's partner, Justin, and his crew were prompt, efficient, approachable, respectful and a joy to deal with. Key point: my wife, the gardener, is very happy with the result which is very pleasing to the eye (see photo)! We hope the years of living with a damp basement are finished. We have already discussed with Jason other jobs inside our home. EPE was affordable and offer good value. Based on our experience, we recommend them 100%.

We would highly recommend using this company for any exterior home improvement needs. The team at Expert Property Enhancements, led by Justin and Jason, transformed our old and tired looking front porch to a place where we now enjoy spending time. The job consisted of tearing out, and replacing the existing porch, staircase, and soffit, as well as creating a beautiful walkway leading up to our new front entrance. We look forward to visits from neighbours and friends who now use our inviting front walkway instead of entering our home through our side entrance. We will definitely be hiring them again for future projects.

We hired EPE for an interlock path, parging and full RE & RE of our backyard/front steps interlocking and new retaining wall. From the first meeting with Jason to discuss options and pricing to the completion of the project Jason was available and involved which we truly appreciate from a business owner, even when we through a couple of changes at him during the middle of the work he was more than accommodating. Justin, Jessie and the rest of the crew started early every morning and worked hard every day, they did a fantastic job in an extremely timely manner, they also brought us over a week of beautiful warm weather in November . Jason and team were great to deal with. Very quick to quote and review what had to be done. Did a great job explaining and showing me what the issue was and the best way to resolve. The team repaired my chimney quickly without issue.
