Did not deliver what was originally promissed
I was given a quote and promised a Magic Pak HVAC unit for my condo, plus $100 cashback. When I accepted the offer, I was informed that there are no Magic Pak units available in Canada at the moment and I have to accept a Canadian product Napoleon. This is a new product on the market while Magic Pak has been a leader for decades. I was forced to accept the alternative (for the price of Magic Pak) since I had a new tenant in my condo unit and could not make him wait. The installation was ok and I am told the unit is working well. I am still chasing the company for the cashback - 6 weeks since the install and numerous emails - still waiting. Overall - not a great experience.

Dear customer,
1. Just to clarify, Our records shows that your $100 incentive/rebate was sent and delivered to your mailing address. You also received 6 months deferral payment on your payment plan.
2. All the offers done at Home Trade Standards are done in writing prior to installation date. Magic pak system was not available due to HVAC shortage in Canada and USA during summer 2021. This is certainly not our fault. Alternatively, You could wait till Jan 2022 to receive a desired Magic Pak unit.
While your review is pretty unfair given the current circumstances 2021, we appreciate unpleasant feedback.
