I had a fantastic experience with HomeTrade Standards, particularly with Kevin, the owner and technician. Despite spending a significant amount of time assessing whether a Nest thermostat could be installed in my Unisex model 450, they didn't charge me a single penny. Kevin had initially advised that the Nest might not work efficiently, but I wanted to give it a try. The technician discovered that my system only had 5 wires available, whereas the Nest requires 7. Throughout the entire process, Kevin and his team were incredibly honest and transparent. Their integrity and free service truly stood out to me. I highly recommend HomeTrade Standards for their honesty and dedication to customer service!

After being told by another Company that the compressor in my condo furnace was faulty and that I should replace the entire furnace at a cost of $10,000 I reached out to Home Trade Standards for a second opinion. They were extremely professional and honest and told me that the compressor in my furnace was fine and that there was no need to replace the furnace. My seven year old heat pump stopped providing cool air. Igor and Kevin assessed and removed the unit for testing. The chassis failed to operate due to low refrigerant in the system. The unit had a leak and was repaired. I received excellent customer service from my first phone call to the reinstallation of the refurbished unit! Home Trade Standards replaced a heat pump chassis in my condo townhome and also repaired a malfunctioning gas fireplace.

They were courteous, knowledgeable, transparent, punctual, and the quality of their work was excellent. I especially appreciated how Kevin spent a considerable amount of time with me on the phone prior to the service call to accurately diagnose the problem and to explain in detail the work that needed to be done. This negated the need for an initial visit to diagnose the problem, and allowed the technicians to complete the repairs on their first and only visit. This was much appreciated given how cold the weather was.
