Same Day Appliance Repair

Near the end of August, when my oven was overheating by an additional 200 degrees. I called this company. Adi came over that evening and was very nice and personable. I paid around $60 or $80, I think, for that call. He said that the computer panel needed replacing. A day or two later, I paid him $560. The appointment was made for him to come and install the part a week or so later. I made arrangements to come home for that - and waited. No show. When I called later, he said that the part hadn't come in yet. I mentioned that it would have been courteous to have let me know that ahead of time. A new date was set for early-mid-September. When he arrived, the cables of the part did not match up to the rest of my stove; it was a Whirlpool part for a Kenmore stove. Away he went again. The next day or so, the part was installed. The oven worked for a few days until I tried to put it on self-clean. Everything stopped working completely and the stove made a sad clicking sound. Adi came back at the end of September to take the part, gave us back $120 of the labour charge until it would be fixed, and we haven't seen him since. He hasn't answered my calls or texts. My husband reached him, and he said he was waiting for Whirlpool to take care of the part. I was in touch with Whirlpool myself; they do a straight exchange and do not make a customer sit for an additional 5 weeks while they fiddle with repairs on a new part. Our biggest concern is that he has walked away with the part so absolutely nothing works on our stove or oven for 5 weeks; at least before I had a stovetop. There is an empty hollow where the display and electrical should be, we are out $500, and these guys have disappeared into thin air and have not responded to our messages. Stay far away from this company.

Dryer was not fixed. The customer rep on the phone is very rude.
Summary:
- They fixed the wrong part in the dryer and we are still having issues. It worked fine for 2 weeks, then back to having SAME EXACT problem.
- Technician barely worked for 45 mins and wrote an invoice for $200. He never explained what he did despite us telling him that the problem was not yet fixed after showing it to him too. He was stubborn and said that he fixed it and we didn't know what we are talking about .
- After repeated attempts, we got another guy to come and he didn't do anything either. We asked for a refund and he told us "he'll check with the office" but a month later, we haven't heard back.

Went with them based on reviews on Homestars but it was a mistake. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. They are difficult and unreasonable.

One month later we started having same problem and we kept calling them to either give us a refund or fix the real problem. They kept on ignoring our calls.

After telling them what the problem could be with my decent technical experience the technician said it was a fuse and showed me why. It was an intermittent problem which soon came back. When I called back they didn't want to send a technician claiming it's not their problem as the technician diagnosed it wrong and they wouldn't believe the customer. I had to nag them and call from numerous numbers to get another representative who still diagnosed it wrong and then when i proved it I was believed. They then wanted to charge me double the price after all i had been thru. What's more they didn't have the courtesy to call me back and let me know and then claimed i'm harassing them trying to get in touch with them. The part costs $200 and they want to give me labor for free but their charge is $400. I stalled on this work and then my landlord who had paid for this got a third party to look and realized they couldn't replace a fuse as my washer didn't have one. I then went to my credit card company to file a dispute when they finally admitted it was their fault.
If I was them I would have refunded the money and given a store credit so the customer would come back.

Our washing machine was leaking and we paid $493 for the initial service call and repair (replaced drain pump). Days later water begins to pool on the floor in the same area. We call for a technician to look at our machine again. We are advised on the phone that we will not pay for the service call. Technician checks our machine and cannot find another problem. We are then advised that we will be charged a service call because there is no new issue. We will not recommend or use this company again.

2 men came to repair my LG fridge. After fiddling around the back of the fridge, they said is fixed and gave me an invoice for 435.05. After they left the water tube leading to the fridge started leaking. We waited for the fridge to cool. But it did not cool. So we called them. 1 of the men came and said the compressor is leaking, which will cost about $400 to repair. He said he cannot repair the water tube because he has to get parts. He had charged me HST but there was no HST No. on the invoice. IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY DON'T CALL THIS COMPANY EVEN IF LIFE DEPENDS ON YOU. I am writing to CRA

My Bosch dryer stopped heating and drying my clothes. I received a phone number from a friend of mine saying he had an amazing experience with a appliance company
I called same day appliance repair and the experience was unbelievable. They fixed my dryer that day I would surely used them again

My Samsung washing machine was not draining, I called same day and they had someone to come in within an hour, the technician John came over opened up the machine and found that the drain pump needed to be replaced. He was very professional with explaining the problem and was able to order the part for me and get it done later that day. I highly recommend them

Very pleased with the work done. Employee's are very professional and are easy to work with. Would forsure call back for any other services. Came on time no waiting necessary.
