James and Cody worked wonders with our old bathroom. This was a full renovation of our bathroom - changing the floor tiles, tiling a shower, a new bathtub and shower, converting an old shower into extra closet space. They were great to work with, willing to do shopping with us, deferring to our opinion when we wanted and having great taste in selections for items we forgot to choose. Their pricing included allocations for materials and my only complaint was that the initial quote showed this per item. When asked they happily provided details. They were always available by phone, text or email which made communication a breeze which so often ends up being a pain point. Thanks for the bathroom guys!

James & Cody were great to work with! They were communicative, respectful, collaborative, and executed our vision for our 2 bathrooms very well. Other than a couple of snags, the project was completed on time. Their electrician and plumber did a great job(s), too. We have no problem recommending them.

Easy to work with. Solved any and all problems that arose during renovation. We are very happy with the end product. James, Cody and Jim were a pleasure to work with!

My project was a complete reconstruction of my roof deck. The work consisted of new replacement decking, privacy walls, new supporting deck framework, new lighting, and an all-new pergola. I am very happy with the result because it not only looks fantastic but it has allowed me to use this 220 sf private outdoor space for entertaining, relaxing, dining and grilling. My visitors unanimously agree it is an amazing enhancement to my home and some have even asked for the contractor’s contact info for jobs of their own (which I happily provided).
The contractors (the team of Cody & James) are wonderful to work with. They are just really personable and caring guys. They also have ready access to high quality trades such as carpentry, plumbing and electrical. My project was extra challenging due to the deck being up 4 stories with only internal stair access. I appreciated that they took the time to ensure the project was thoughtfully planned at each stage, gave me an opportunity for feedback, and happily accommodated adjustments during the work. They kept me up-to-date on progress including changes to day-to-day scheduling to help me plan my time around the work. They also did not hesitate to propose changes on their own, which was most appreciated.
They maintained contact post-completion for follow-up adjustments and small fixes. I am impressed they are contacting me without prompting - I do not have to chase them.
I plan to use this contractor again for Phase II of the project which will be a new kitchenette to service the new roof deck.
If there was one thing that I’d suggest be done differently it is the project cost estimate which was provided as only a single total amount. I would like to see more detail in the breakdown of estimated costs such as labour and materials, contingencies, and a cost breakdown of the major deliverable components e.g. decking, pergola, electrical, staining. Not a deal breaker per se, but such a breakdown would be helpful to provide insight into the job and my budget at the outset, and for the impact of scope changes during the work.

All in all, super job. I am very happy!

With outstanding work, Clark contracting completed our backsplash and tile floor for our kitchen renovation months ago. When we decided to go ahead with a bathroom renovation, we knew immediately that Clark contracting would once again be a perfect fit for the job. They worked within a tight time frame and followed through on all expectations. Our bathroom went from our most disliked room in our home, to the most loved and admired-- all thanks to Clark Contracting!

We selected Clark Contractors from five bids to renovate our bathroom. Their quotation was most complete and self-explaining, giving breakdowns of labour costs and cost allowances for all materials. Everything in the bathroom was to be replaced and re-tiled except the granite-top vanity which we wished to retain. We received from them valuable design advice in how to blend the vanity with all new tiles and fixtures to produce an aesthetically pleasing end-product. The renovation work was carried out by owners of this business themselves, but they used their proven tradesmen to do plumbing and electrical installation, as well as installation of a custom-made bathtub glass enclosure. The project started on the day promised - first day they took us shopping for tiles, bathtub, toilet, faucets, accessories, etc. The second day was demolition, the third day dry-walling, and then they continued - without losing a day - to complete the job, again by the date promised. And they did a very outstanding and clean job! The key words are: great work experience and knowledge, professionalism, precision, high attention to detail, focus on the job, overall cleanliness, keeping promises, and no cost overruns. These people were pleasant to deal with, it was a pleasure to have them on the property. Their cost was very reasonable - especially when considering quality of the work, and so we would rate them an overall "6 plus" on a 1 to 5 scale ;)

Cody, from Clark contracting, was hired during our kitchen renovation to complete the backsplash and tile flooring. From the start of our renovation, Cody was eager and enthusiastic to assist us in both design and layout.

Throughout the process of our renovation Cody was patient, accommodating, and honest-- all of which were very much appreciated.

His attention to detail, quality of work and expertise make him someone I would happily refer to all friends and family.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Cody, and the amazing job he did on my washroom. He is professional and personable. He worked with me in choosing all items, even meeting me at the tile store and various other stores to help me through the process. Wow! The pictures say it all. His team also completed my basement, and are painting my interior walls. I will be contacting him again to redo our upstairs washroom, and eventually the tile work in my kitchen.

We had our ensuite bathroom renovated. The bathtub was removed and a new tiled shower was installed. We had the floor retiled, and a new countertop installed on our vanity.
Cody Clark went beyond our imagination and built us a breathtaking washroom. We will be contacting Clark Contracting for any of our future renos.
