We purchased a hot tub at the Toronto Home Show. We were impressed at the service they offered, including the spa school, and that they are located very nearby. (Sadly they only have the spa school on Sundays, which we could not do, but they gave us a rundown on the same information and a packet to take with us.)
Unfortunately, there was a mix up and the tub that was delivered was not the model we had ordered. They were very apologetic and Mike was up-front about remembering our visit with them at the Home Show and that we had wanted this specific model - but the wrong one had gotten written into the contract. Together with Laura at the head office they went above and beyond in getting it set right. We'd have to wait about six weeks for the right one to arrive from the factory but in the meantime, they offered to let us keep the first model and even use it.
We've just made the switch. In both deliveries the men were quick, efficient and, despite the size of these things, brought them in and out with ease. We are quite pleased with the new model - we are not a tall family and we find this configuration suits us much better. Also we find the placement of the cover is a HUGE improvement. In the previous model, the cover covered the control panel when it was open. We couldn't see what temperature it was, which was very important as I'm expecting and our young daughter LOVES to play in the water too. Also the placement of the handles on the new cover makes much better use of physics and makes it far easier to open.
So though there was a bit of a snafu, through their excellent service all has worked out well.
