I recently hired Chris (The Taping Guy Ltd.) to perform mudding and taping in my home and I am extremely pleased with the job that was done. From start to finish, Chris exhibited great professionalism and skill - ensuring that every detail was properly taken care of.

I tried my hand at taping my basement, never again! Chris came in and we were blown away at his work. He has a level of care, knowledge, and passion for any project that is unmatched. I will be using him in any future project.

Chris is excellent at what he does. We are really impressed with his work. We are finishing our basement on our own, but decided that we lack the skills to match how picky we are. Chris is highly skilled and very, very meticulous. We love that. Our drywall job wasn't the best, but it was no problem for Chris. We are also impressed with his punctuality and communication. We hired this company to mud and tape the new drywall in our basement. They were quick to respond and come provide us with a quote. When we decided to hire them, they promptly started the job. The job was completed in a timely matter and the quality of work done was exceptional. I would highly recommend this company and would use them for any future jobs I have.

Man Chris is the best guy. I had a contractor do such a bad job he had to skim the ceilings and all the walls. Was done quick and great. Had a painting company come in prim and Chris came back and light checked and touch up. Then the painters screwed up and didn't prime all the spots. so all the paint pealed. I didn't know what to do so I called Chris back he was stunned by the damage they caused. He helped me again by sanding all the pealing paint and remudded And sanded. He is very knowledgeable about the whole process. He has been a life saver from all the bad contractors I've had.

Had a great experience with Chris! Always had clear communication from the quoting process to completion of the the project. Very clean as well, uses a sander that sucks majority of the dust up which was a huge deciding point and win for me.
I would recommend Chris to everyone you wont be disappointed and know the job is getting done the proper way without rushing anything.

We hired The Taping Guy (Chris) to fix up our garage walls so we could paint them. He was very friendly and was a pleasure to work with. He did a great job with the mudding, taping and sanding, and his attention to detail shows that he takes a lot of pride in his work!

Chris came out to quote me on mudding and taping my basement and was ultra professional and reliable, having arrived on the day at the time he said he would. He used electronic measuring to tally up the square footage of my basement and provided an estimate to me within a day or so. I had installed the drywall myself (as a complete newbie) and apologized to Chris about the state of the work. He was quick to reassure me that he could make any job look greatthen spent the next week or so proving just that.

I couldn't be happier with the way my basement looks now. The work that Chris did looks unreal and I think people would be hard pressed to believe that a rookie like me had laid the board. Chris has next level attention to detail and was an excellent communicator. He always let me know where things were at with my job and I never felt like I was a second thought or less of a priority than his other clients.

I would HIGHLY recommend The Taping Guy if you need any mudding and taping done!

I reached out to Chris after finding him on Google to get him to quote mudding and taping a basement suite that we had drywalled ourselves. Chris provided a quote that was fair in a timely way and we decided to go with him.

Chris and a helper came over the course of two weeks probably 7 times to complete this job. He was always respectful, clean, and he did a great job on all of the corners and to make it work with some of the existing drywall that was left from the renovation.

When the job was done he kindly left me the his pail and remaining mud for me to be able to do any other touchups, and after using ~4 extra boxes of drywall fill than originally quote he charge me only the difference in material.

My partner and I had Chris and his team members mud and tape our basement. From the beginning, Chris was always very friendly, communicative and showed up when he said he would. We chose Chris based on his confidence to make our DIY drywalling look good, and he did just that! I can't say enough good things about Chris and his work. Our DIY job looks... dare I say... professional?! All because of his work! He kept the spaces clean and always let us know where he was at with progress before he left for the day. I can't recommend Chris The Taping Guy enough!
