RayS Homes saved me in the crazy days after so many basements flooded in Toronto in July 2024. For our flood, my insurance company worked with only two contractors and these were so busy that they took a month and a half to provide an estimate and then would not answer the phone to allow me to offer them the work. So I turned to RayS Homes. Even though very busy themselves, Raymond was extremely responsive and provided me with his own very professional quote within 24 hours. He agreed to start the work within a week and arrived on time to get going. He and his very competent, skilled and agreeable team stuck with the project until it was completed not much more than two weeks later. The quality of work was excellent, the timeliness much appreciated, and the overall experience of dealing with them was superb. Definitely would recommend for major repairs and renovation projects!

I recently hired RayS Homes to replace all the drywall with fire-rated drywall on one side of my house, and I am thoroughly impressed with their work. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were exceptionally high, resulting in a flawless finish that truly enhanced aesthetics of my home despite a thankless job that needed to get done to meet code.

Raymond remodeled a rental apartment in an older multi-unit building. He suggested changes that I never thought of, that greatly improved the apartment's look and feel. The tenants were very happy and so was I. Ray showed up with his crew and worked steadily until the job was done. He did so without disrupting the other tenants. There have been no reported problems and I look forward to using Ray when I have another apartment to renovate.

The 40 year old flooring in our home started to fail and it was time to replace it. Ray and his team came in and did a fantastic job start to finish completing the project. Ray walked us through pricing, showed us different samples, was self sufficient throughout the construction process, and finished the job on time and on budget.

Our air conditioning system was leaking a lot of water and we had a problem gaining access to the back of the furnace which was built into a very tight furnace room. We read all of the excellent reviews about RayS Homes and called Ray. Ray responded immediately and because of our urgent need he came first thing the next morning and cut into the back part of the furnace room and installed a door that permitted the repair to be done. Rays work was outstanding and I highly recommend him. All of the excellent reviews are true. As a result of his great work, we are also hiring Ray to do do a renovation of our bathroom.

Ray and his team were amazing! They were extremely professional, explained everything they were doing. We had skylights that leaked which damaged the roof and ceiling. Everything had to be replaced.
They did a perfect job. Anyone who hires this company will not be disappointed. When we are ready to replace our main roof we will be calling him to do it.

We installed HVAC in our house and hired Raymond to drywall over the vents. Unfortunately one of the main vents had to installed in a very awkward location in our home. We decided to cover it up with built-in shelves so that it blends in with the rest of the space. Working with Raymond we came up with a layout and style we liked and and it turned out to be a fun experience.

He also did a variety of other odd jobs for us that ranged from lighting to demolition. And even fixed our doorbell for free without us asking. Raymond was a pleasure to work with and so was his helper Oscar. They also worked very hard to try and make our deadlines, which were tight because of our move-in date.

With help from the professionals at Rays Homes we were able to achieve:
1. Our dream built in closet behind bed plan
2. Expand our second bedroom into what is now a rental unit.
3. Change flooring in both bedrooms
4. Turn our powder room into a full bathroom and installed new flooring.

Raymond and his team did a wonderful job renovating my basement. They hung a drywall, replaced the floor, put in a new door, created a cover for the electrical panel, and painted the whole thing. Not only was the quality of the work great, they did it all on a very short deadline. Raymond was super easy to communicate with, friendly, he had great ideas, and was very collaborative. I would recommend him to anyone thinking of doing renovations in their home.
