Never ever have business with

Hello , I am also victim of these company. We have booked movers month ago and was silently waiting for pick up our stuff. The movers supposed to call me day before picking up. Nobody have not call me, when I called to the office they said that delivery actually will be on the next day . I just started to read review about company plus delay and I decided to cancel my pick up and take my deposit back. I called to the office where guy told me that I am not be able to return my deposit because truck is already coming from Calgary to Red Deer. The problem with it that the movers supposed to come from 3 to 6 but I was calling in the office at 8 a.m. People be aware. It is unprofessional company that eventually will give you just headache.

Fraudulent, unreliable, horrible, worst moving company ever

I had the worst and most horrible experience of my life with this green moving and Storage company, will never recommend to my worst enemy not to talk of a friend, at first I was told I had 960 pounds, which I disputed and asked them reweigh it, then they said it was 800pounds and threatened me to pay for the 960 pounds even when it's not up to 960 that if I don't pay for the 960 pounds, I won't get any of my stuffs, which I had to do because I have a 9 months old baby sleeping on the floor, I did this out of bitterness ......please if you are reading this, never try to give them a trial, it's not worth wasting your money on, I'll rather advise to give the money to the foster kids than this company.....will never recommend.

BEWARE!

Called Green - they came the next day - Mark was eager to take my business if I agreed to the next day pick-up.
They came. I packed a lot of boxes, at the recommendation of Mark, and helped movers as much I could. One mover approached me and asked if I wanted the insurance of $350.00 to pack my large screen TV and iMac. I questioned it at first but then agreed as the mover told me that if anything happened to the screen of either machine and it could not be fixed - it was fully insured and the item would be replaced with a new one.

The movers left - I questioned how they knew which boxes and items were mine and he said because of the tags (stickers) they put on each item/box. I noticed some of the stickers were not fully sealed to the box and made sure I personal put them on flat.

A week later - I'm in Vancouver - I'm told until I have a fixed address that my stuff will remain in storage. VANCOUVER did not work out and I returned to the same apartment I left in Ottawa. 8 days later.

I emailed Mark continuously to get him to return my things to me in Ottawa but never got a reply. I eventually called them and told them please just return my items to Ottawa.

They agreed. I asked them that the price of going to Vancouver would differ just returning to Ottawa. And they deducted some money. But I questioned why i was charged for packing 1920 pounds of personal belongings and then $350 for packing the TV and the iMac - basically charged twice for this service. And was told that these two items were not insured. I asked what it was I was paying $350.00 for when the cost of packing them was included in the total weight. I was charged .30 per pound but quoted .11 for the packing - about $200 I was told by Mark, the owner.

Before they would return my stuff to me they insisted I pay the new invoice. I did pay in full the next day.

Then I am told Wednesday was fully booked but would be the first one if there was a cancellation. No cancellation and I was rescheduled to get my stuff that Saturday.

Friday afternoon I am told I better call the office because Saturday was cancelled. I set up being here in an empty apartment myself, having Bell Canada come to hook me up with internet and cable - and a TV would have to be here in order to do it. I had to reschedule Bell and slept on the floor that night.

The following Wednesday is said when I will get my stuff. They come. I tried unpacking as fast as I could to see if everything was there - I checked the obvious things off of the list they had but when it came to boxes I had no idea what was in them.

The movers finished unloading. Told me that was it. Nothing else on the truck for me. I signed off the invoice and as soon as they left I started to open up all the boxes. Immediately I knew things were missing. Bose Speaker system for my computer. My PS3, my multi-region Blu-ray player, my cable cord for my TV, my keyboard and mouse for my iMac., one of a kind books worth $600.00 that I specially ordered from the U.K. and have receipts.

I started noting the numbers on the green stickers they placed on the boxes. All the boxes were in one room when they came - the sequence followed from 170 - 190 or so... One box had no sticker on it. and there was a sequence of 3 numbers missing. These three boxes more than likely have my belongings in them - coincidentally it's the three boxes with all my expensive electronics in them.

I called them immediately. The guy who answered the phone had no idea what I was talking about - in the past, and there were many calls to Mark, Mark would never be allowed to speak on the phone by the employee who answered. They diverted every call.

He, whoever he was, said he would call the truck and see if my boxes were on it and that they would deliver them before they left Ottawa. I never got a call back. I called them and asked if they found them. He said he didn't know. They'd only know when the truck returned to Toronto. Why would they wait for the truck to return to Toronto to figure out if they had my boxes? I told him I was waiting for jam to call me back. Never got a call. I called him again, I'm getting frustrated at their incompetence at this time and he asks why I'm getting so angry. I simply said I want my boxes. I said from the beginning this ordeal with them was hell - then he tells me that they had to put the stuff on the Vancouver truck and then remove it once they found out I wasn't going to Vancouver but the deal was that my stuff would stay in storage until I had a fixed address. So why was my stuff loaded on the Vancouver truck?

The total amount of things that I am missing is over $2200.00 - I paid them $1500 to take my stuff from Ottawa to TORONTO and back again. They broke a standing electric fan, a lamp and busted a picture frame.

I am filing a small claims against them. They have until Monday afternoon - March 28, 2016 before I press send as the form has been filled out.

Stay away from these people folks. They are as crooked as they come.

FRAUDULENT and HARASSING company!!!!

This company agreed to match prices with a company that offered me a transportation of my material (king and queen size bed plus dining table) for 440$ plus gst 22$, including a free wrapping!

I agreed with them because Mark who called me and had me change my mind with the other companies told me that their service is their pride! I agreed to deal with them!

That was the worst decision i could take, because 1st: i booked a month before the moving date which was february 25, 2016 and they waited till the 24th to call and cancel the pick up scheduled for the 25ft!

Angry i called their office and told them about that phone call i have received and they did not even know what happenned! So they fixed it and called me back saying they were sorry and even send me an email appologizing for that matter!
They eneded up doing the pick as scheduled!

On february 10th, 2016, after almost a month of transportation, the company called me and said that they were ready to deliver on the 11th at 8AM, i was exited and all because i was sleeping on the ground with my wife and a 5 months old baby until they added that the bill was 682$ owing!

I was shocked and asked why because that was not the amount we agreed to from begining! Someone called BRUCK said that i was being CHaRGED for the WRAPPING of the materials!
Surprised i got really angry and told them that the amount charge is not right because they AGREED to WRAP for free! unexpectedly the man started telling that they would not bring my materials and had MARK call me!

When MARK CALLED, HE SAID that it WAS NOT HIS BUSINESS BECAUSE HE NOT THERE WHEN THE DRIVER THEY HAVE SENT WAS PACKING!

SHOCKED, IHAVE ASKED: HOW THE HELL IS IT MY FAULT IF THEIR SUBCONTRACTORS ARE THE ONE WHO WRAPPED THE MATERIAL!

THEY DID NOT SAY ANYTHING AND HANG Up JUST LIKE THAT! Untill today i have not received my beds and dinning tables, AND STILL SLEEPING ON THE GROUND WITH MY WIFE and MY 5 MONTHS OLD BABY!

This company is the worst transportation ever!
Mostly they waited till one day prior to the delivery to tell me that they were charging me for the wrapping, when first of all it was supposed to be free and second of all be waited till the last minute to prevent me and that is just not right at all! Because if you changing a contract closure, the other party is supposed to be informed of the changes made to it! And not wait till one day prior to the delivery to inform people without prevention!!!

I have the emails from MARK and RECORDED THEM AGREEING AND DISAGREEING TO OUR AGREEMENT!!!

(or your additional information, i even told the drivers that i dont want them to wrap it since there was going to be charges!

the drivers stated that there is no problem because they were not going to charge me and that they would charge the company instead + the DRIVER INITIALED THE PAPER HIMSELF, because he added a charge of 2...$ and that they were in a rush for some other pick ups in Calagary, I DECIDED to not sign since MARK did not mention anything about Charges for THE WRAPPING. he stated that there was no problem they only would deal with the company and not me!

Also it has to be clear that i am not working for your company to give any direction at the pick up moment,simply because it is your DUTY as the person who signed the papers and agreement to let them KNOW HOW TO WORK. SPECIALY WHEN THEY ARRIVE AT MY LOCATION, THEY DID NOT EVEN KNOW IF THEY HAD TO SEND IT WRAPPED OR NOT. they asked me if i wanted that and i answered MARK SAID IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WRAPPED FOR FREE.

and i answered that it's between you guys because what concernes me is that MARK clearly said that the WRAPPING would be FREE!

everything was not stated at the moment of the agreement and now that it is delivery time, you and your company are trying to add charges that are not even mentioned during the 2 weeks to prevent me or ask me if i wanted to pursuit with that or not!

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU GUYS DID AT THE PICK UP MOMENT ONE DAY PRIOR CHANGING THE TIME AND DAYS, which has to be scheduled by me giving a call to your COMPANY, GREEN MOVING STORAGE.

surprisingly you were not even aware of those situations, HOW PROFESSIONAL IS THAT WHEN YOU BOOKED ME ! MONTH AHEAD!

Move from Aberta to Ontario

I have done this move 3 times now, the first two were with a different company. This time, due to issue with the other 2 moves, I was looking for a different company and thankfully, Mark from Green Moving responded to a request I had put in on a site for quotes for the move.

My initial inquiry was done when I did not have an exact moving date confirmed but the ease with which Mark handled things made it no problem.

I knew the total weight of our stuff based on the first to moves and got a quote based on that and that was what I ended up paying (actually a little less as we gave some furniture away a week before we moved).

The driver was excellent as was the crew he had to assist with the loading and him and his partner unloaded with out issue. It is winter time so we were given a range of how many days it would take and I asked the driver on moving day and he told me an exact date (as he knew his schedule by then), subject to weather, and that ended up working out just fine.

The move was on budget, on time, and no damage to anything.

No need for me to shop around next time, I will call them!

Apartment Move

I remember my son asking me who would be doing my move. When I told him that I had booked with Green Moving and Storage, he asked if it was a reputable company. I told him that I would let him know.

After the move was done, I highly recommended Green Moving to my son for his next move. Everyone I dealt with there were top notch, from the booking with Mark through to the actual move by Manny and Eddy; and the price was right within my budget. Everything went seamlessly.

Based on my experience with Green Moving, I would recommend this company to anyone who asked.

UNRELIABLE, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Worst moving experience I have ever had. Cross country move from Calgary to Toronto. Mark at Green Moving and Storage assured it would be seamless. They would not guarantee a time, but promised I would receive a call on the day before the move to set up a time, if I didn't receive a call, to email Mark at anytime and he would be available. No one called to set up a time the day before as promised. I emailed and called the company and Mark all weekend long and no one returned my call. On moving day, no one showed up. Luckily, I was able to hire Allied Moving last minute (which costed more but was very reliable and worth the price). I have had to call Green Moving and Storage on 5 separate occasions to request a refund of my deposit money. On two occasions the staff were rude to me. Finally, after much persistence, the funds were released back to me, but no one acknowledged that they failed to deliver the services I had purchased, and no one apologized. In fact, they hung up on me. Moving is very stressful, and the last thing any one needs is an unreliable, disorganized and rude company to mess things up on the "big" day. Go with any company that is reputable, THIS COMPANY IS NOT RELIABLE AND IS NOT WORTH THE STRESS.

Cross-city moving from Quebec to Ontario

Apartment move from Montreal to Toronto.
Good customer service and very helpful and efficient movers.
Cost is reasonable for a 2000lb move.

Mark Trout is the person-in-charge of the account and
is great on following up the details and process.
