The worst Moving Company

They have moved my mother in law from Winnipeg to Vancouver. they only had a few pieces of furniture to move and they have damaged it all.
they even damaged here mattress. TV was damaged as well. After 3 months of arguing with them I finally was approved for compensation, which they never sent.
Do not use them they are terrible!!!

Worst moving company ever !!

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever seen they damaged my property and never repaired it. The movers don't know anything they are very slow and they will put marks all over your property. I sent many emails regarding damages and I was delayed until their 10 days past for claims and was told sorry you can no longer place a claim. I do not recommend this company to anyone and this is the first time I have ever wrote a bad review about any company.

Moving TO to Calgary (Initial move)

Despite the odd and negative reviews on this moving company, I had a contrast experience with Green, which was a positive and pleasant experience. Ata and Dogukan were the movers and truly professional and quick at work.

Their pricing was very good and certainly best in the market. If everything goes as per the initial move from Toronto and the stuff is delivered well in Calgary, I have nothing bad to say.

Great job to the team. (7265)

Service

I highly recommend This company if you're moving anywhere in the country. They are friendly, compassionate and very kind. After having to moving from out of province to Toronto because of a family emergency, I had a lot of difficulties paying the move bill. I had a rough year with a lot of medical issues. Green Moving was so wonderful, they worked with me and blessed me with the delivery. I cannot express how grateful I am to them. It takes someone with a big heart, understanding and compassion to do something like this. They are amazing people and I will forever be grateful. There are a lot of companies that claim they have the customers best interest at heart and never show it but I am proof that Green Moving delivers in their promise and takes care of their customers to the very end. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Green Moving.... God Bless!!

Moving - initial pick up ( toronto -ft.mcmurray)

We had the initial pick up in Toronto yesterday evening and it all went perfect . Ata and Burak did such a great job. Very professional , organized , quick and careful hardworking guys. If it all goes like the initial pick up until we get the furniture delivered in Ft.Mcmurray, then I have nothing to worry about . I'll keep u all posted .
So far , 10 stars for Ata and Burak. Thank you
guys !

Nice work !

I moved from north york to fenelon falls , as they say "local move " , movers came on time in the morning , which they were able to accomodate my request for an early move. I had 3 bedrooms and a basement , there were two movers (Ata and Anthony) and they picked up my stuff in just under three hours which in my opinion is pretty fast. They wrapped every single thing even the things they probably didnt even have to so theg were very cautious. Knowing my stuff was packed well was a relief . we came to fenelon falls and they offloaded in an hour in a half . i appreciate how the movers never wasted a moment of time especially since i was paying hourly. The process of booking and setting a date was also really easy. Thanks guys

Move to Calgary from Saskatoon

I moved from Saskatoon to Calgary in June. Has my things picked up in Saskatoon on June 11th and delivered in Calgary June 15th. For the price I was satsisfied with that time frame. Movers were great. Nice bunch of guys. Professionals. Overall good service and good price. I would trust them for another move.

enjoy peoples.. don't hire them at all. moved our daughter's furniture from Ottawa destined for Fredericton but the stuff ended up on Toronto .. played around with them trying to get the stuff back and ended up paying credit card .. good thing we did as we had a legal recourse to get our money back due to a breach of contract .. finally got friends to go with their truck from Ottawa to TO to get her stuff and got her friend to come to Ottawa and drive a truck to Fredericton NB... DO NOT USE THEM

Terrible Terrible Company

We moved between provinces and had a very stressful, thanks in large part to this company (still dealing with our claim, 6 months later).
First, the company was extremely misleading, by operating under a different name (Homeland moving) and offering a quote that grossly underestimated the weight of a 4 bedroom apartment.
It was also not our understanding that our property would be moved twice, which obviously increases the risk of damage, since the customer cannot have anyone present at the second move to insure that things are moved correctly. My father was present for the initial pick up, on our behalf, and only then was told that later that day or the following day, the truck would drive to Toronto and then our belongings would be moved onto a bigger truck. Obviously, he had no choice but to agree to it at that point.
When we returned from our travels in June (I had informed the person I was in communication with at Homeland that we would be away for most of June and that my father would be present for the move in our stead), I arrived back to several phone messages and emails essentially harassing us for the full payment of the moving service. However, these messages and emails were from a company that I did not know I was doing business with, Green Moving & Storage. Not only did I feel harassed, because I had informed Homeland that we would be out of the country, but we were not informed that full payment would be required before we received any of our belongings. It was also three times the amount that had been estimated, and it was from a company I had never dealt with. I called Green Moving to clarify the situation, was essentially threatened that the goods would not be delivered for several weeks if payment was not received immediately, and then received yet another call after payment had been made, because of a lack of communication within the accounting department. Totally incompetent employees all around.
Finally, the delivery was four days late and we had to call everyday to get an update, whereas we were told the company would call us the day before our expected delivery. Every time we called we were given some excuse about the truck not yet having left the initial city, because the driver was sick or whatnot. Yet this didn't make sense, because we knew from what my father had been told, that our things had long since been taken to Toronto and moved onto another truck.
When we finally did receive our belongings, several boxes clearly marked "fragile" were partially crushed, furniture was damaged and large items that we had securely packed, yet had still included HUGE signs we had made, saying "Fragile and Do Not Place on Side -- Glass" , were in fact transported on their side, causing them to partially come apart, risking the breaking of large pieces of glass. The workers' complete disregard for our belongings, despite the efforts we made to direct them in keeping our items safe was unbelievable.

Needless to say, every interaction with Green Moving & Storage was frustrating. Their lack of response to our claim, several times over (the initial online claim in July went completely ignored; our attempts to speak to a manager on the phone was thwarted several times; and the several attempts at following up I made, both by email and phone, were almost entirely neglected) is but another example of how terribly this business operates.
