I cannot recommend Scott and his team highly enough. Scott is a great communicator who kept me up to date all the way through the project, and was able to explain complicated matters very clearly so I could keep up with what was going on. Scott was able on several occasions to work some magic to get around some practical obstacles that were very specific to our space. And the end product? Beautiful. Scott and his team did a phenomenal job finishing a large addition project on our Danforth century home. Scott stepped in after we had let previous contractors go, and he went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. His team was consistent in its skill and timeliness, and they communicated extremely clearly so that we always knew exactly what was going on and how much it would cost.

We're thrilled with the final results, and I would highly recommend Toronto Green Builders to any of my friends.

I cannot recommend Scott and his team enough. We hired them to renovate the interior of our 100-year old house and it looks like something you would see in a magazine. A fantastic attention to detail and really good problem solver when coming across the surprises you find renovating a house of this age. They worked very quickly and efficiently, and were very good communicators with us in updating us on the project.

What really set him apart though was about three quarters of the way through our renovation when we had a family emergency and gave birth to our son several months premature. Scott came in on a Sunday and the team worked overtime for the next few days to finish our bedroom and main floor, allowing us to have a clean and functional living area while they finished the last few rooms. Truly went above and beyond and we are so very happy with the finished product.

Having hired Scott on jobs both large and small, I can say he has always done an exceptional job. Excellent communicator, clear with his quotes in materials, labour and timing, as well as on the impact of change orders. He built a 350 ft. walkway and huge deck for our cottage island property and oversaw the construction of a sleep cottage and new solar system; all very well built. Excellent problem-solver, presenting options with cost and timing implications. Knows when to get a second opinion and bring in specialized help. Especially good understanding of environmentally friendly solutions. Overall, great work on all projects - on time, on budget, reliable and a pleasure to work with.
