I have worked with multiple construction company but Vertex Design and Millwork has been one of the best, if not the best that we have experience with. They were wonderful to work with and always kept us in the loop to everything that was going on. They attended to the project making sure that everything was going as expected, always keep a great communication and listening to our ideas.

Vertex team has worked multiple of my properties renovation in a time matter. We really thank you for delivering wonderful renovation to each of our apartments.

I hired Vertex to renovate a bathroom. The millwork was ok but their trades were completely incompetent. Other than the plumber who was great. The shower was supposed to be the centre piece of the reno but they were not able to install properly for starters an it took them months to fix it so there was no flooding, but most importantly, they failed completely to do proper grout. A basic. See below for photos of the grout after 3 visits to fix. shockingly bad. Avoid at all costs. Expensive, unreliable and incompetent.

Renovating a kitchen and removing an adjoining wall to make a tv lounge will always be interesting; but doing it in an 1890s house, served up many challenging situations. Doing it in the Covid Fall of 2020 could have made things even more challenging. However, John and his team of dedicated and thoughtful people always worked diligently to complete the project in a timely fashion. The team’s motto was “For every problem, there’s a solution”. That motto held true on many occasions. The end result is a modern and highly efficient kitchen that is a gorgeous contemporary space!

Vertex Design just completed a full kitchen remodel for us and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. John and his team were wonderful to work with from start to end. During design stage John offered several design options for consideration, was very patient and knowledgeable during the entire process. He is very talented on both the design aspects as well as the actual technical build. When we had to adjust some items along the way, John found solutions at each turn. Vertex Design has our highest recommendation and we look forward to next project for our home where we will absolutely turn to John and his team again.

Vertex Design & Millwork Inc. recently completed a remodel of our primary bathroom and we are extremely happy with how things turned out. John, the owner and operator of Vertex, was very easy to work with and clearly understood our needs and design goals, and he worked in collaboration with our designer. His crew were professional and skilled at their various trades. John demonstrated great patience and professionalism throughout the entire process. He was quick to respond to our many queries. Not only did he take responsibility for the completion of the project, but he was also willing to offer his own ideas regarding design and materials based on his years of experience. There were many challenges regarding product delivery because of the pandemic. Vertex was able to promptly schedule and complete the work based upon availability of the materials. We are particularly pleased with the tiling of the feature wall and floor. In fact, it looks amazing. Our once simple bathroom has now been turned into a beautiful spa which we hope to enjoy for many years to come.

John was an absolute professional from beginning to end of this project. We had an unfinished kitchen reno and had issues with functionality of drawers and cupboard doors- some did not open or close properly, many needed to be re-installed or replaced. After discussing the issues, John offered great solutions and products to fix our issues. He and his team showed up on time and when agreed upon, acted professionally, respected our time and space, and explained their services and costs. We have only good things to say of John and Vertex Design!

We contracted Vertex to design and install custom milwork for our dining area, living room, and library. John and the team have done an excellent job. We would like to highlight John's knowledge and experience in the field. His guidance at every step of the way made the process much easier. Like every project, there were some details that we wish we would have paid attention to in the design phase. However, we would like to commend John and the team for the flexibility to adjust the final product. Ultimately, we were very happy with the end results. We would definitely contract Vertex again for our next project. Thank you!

I moved in to a new condo in downtown and Vertex helped me in renovating and adding the finishing touches to my new purchase exactly how I wanted my new home to be. Very modern and excellent design that adds the WoW factor in your place, highly recommend! And John was spectacular as he gave me a lot of design device along the way, he knew exactly how to translate our idea to our space!

I was very happy with the work done with John and his team at Vertex Design. They were very professional, organized and tidy. They were also timely considering we are in the middle of a pandemic. Love the piece.
