In 2013, the company replaced my old furnace with a new Bryant furnace. The selling agent emphasized the benefits of a two-stage furnace. So we paid for a two-stage furnace (Bryant 925T). However, they only configured the furnace to function as a one-stage furnace, most likely because they didn't want to spend the time to install the extra wire for the second stage. So the furnace has been running for more than 10 years as one-stage furnace. They also did a couple times of regular inspection for us without mentioning any issue. Recently, we replaced the thermostat with a new ecobee smart thermostat and found that the wire for the second stage was not installed at all. This company is highly unprofessional and untrustworthy.
