Catpools.com - No Longer in Business

Extremely disappointed with Don of CatPools. The quality of the work was poor and he was late on nearly every commitment. As well he made many different promises to fix things that were done badly or not at all, in writing via text, and then openly reneged, refusing to complete some of the work he had committed to.

He did not do a quality job of installation nor finishing of the stone work around the pool (e.g. lights had to be replaced twice, loose coping stones, stones installed over skimmer opening, polymeric sand crumbling, edging installed incorrectly etc.). Much of the work had to be redone by a professional landscaping company.

Don and CatPools, are skilled sales people but did a very unsatisfactory job of installing and servicing the pool. Check your contract carefully and watch out for misleading language, eg. "sump tube system" = a tube but not a pump. If you do choose them, get EVERYTHING in writing in the most minute detail and line up a good lawyer.

Had catpools.com install our new fiber glass pool and deck. Our pool has leaked since install. No support from this company or the owner after final payment. I would not and could not recommend this company to anyone wanting to install your new pool. They were much less then other fiberglass pool installers, but now we have to have areas around the pool dug back up and fixed properly due to a poor install. Should have paid the extra for a more professional company to install our pool properly from the start. Great salesman poor quality workmanship! Filed BBB complaint. Unresolved.
