Immediate Hot Water Tank and No Heat for 3 Months
Last week of October, 2021, taking showers that were becoming shorter and shorter because of the lack of hot water. Blamed the timing of my showers, it was a one-off, it’ll probably fix itself, etc etc. it never did.
November hits and there’s no hot water at all not only the shower, but now the laundry as well as doing the dishes are done with freezing cold water. Called HSCI, forwarded me to Simply Green who sent out two separate technicians one said the whole unit is broken and another said a part needed to be replaced and he’s ordered it and will call when it came in.
No one called. I called HSCI Repeatedly throughout November only to be told that another technician had taken my part and it was going to have to be ordered again. We are nearing the end of November and we can’t bathe. No one can say anything else except how sorry they are and will call me when the part arrives,
December, no one calls. I finally get a technician to come back with this coveted part. He fixed it. For 3 days. Call back again and 2 technicians arrive. But now, we have no heat at all. They gave us 3 mini heaters one of which was broken. Of course, they are going to call me, but never did. But a technician was sent out because now I am not just filthy but cold af. Really nice guy says sorry but your water tank is something that I have never seen before but I have fixed your heating.
January 2022, no hot water STILL. not working. I call HSCI and when told I have had no hot water for 3 months, all of a sudden a technician is over here the next day. Says that he has never seen a problem like this and he promised me, just like the plethora of other techs to call me back and he was going to get this done. True to his word he actually called, made an appointment, brought another technician with him who happened to be the Same gentleman who got the heat up and running.
Well finally, finally the two of these men fixed it. So that’s January 24th. Finally have hot water. These two gentleman are 5 star top notch employees who deserve a raise and some recognition for their kindness. AZAD at Simply Green actually called a few days later just to confirm that we had hot water still and we had heat. Who does that anymore? Not just that this guy fixed something that I am sure is not in his job description but he did it anyway. The fire alarm in my bedroom has intermittently been going off whenever it was in the mood . New batteries were replaced, property manager couldn’t figure it out and that thing became more like a nemesis for almost a year. AZAD put a whole new alarm in that I had purchased but I couldn’t figure out how to install it. This guy was done in 3 minutes tops and I have never heard that thing beep again.
So after this debacle with HSCI, we finally got the problem rectified by AZAD & FAWAD at Simply Green.
