Texted Blake late at night as our furnace motor died, he got back to me early the next morning and slotted me in that afternoon. Surprising - it was -30 outside so I assumed I would have to wait or pay an enormous fee.
Neither was true. Blake was on time and quickly replaced the furnace motor. The price was as he quoted me over text messages (well $50 less) and did not have an enormous call out fee or anything like that. His pricing was very honest compared to what I have experienced in the past with furnace repair and I did not walk away feeling ripped off. He also gave me the option of using a generic part or an actual Carrier part. At the end Blake gave a quick 5 minute lesson on cleaning the flame sensor.
The fan of course works, and still works, perfectly fine. Blake had cleaned everything up in terms of the mess he made and the area around the furnace was left exactly as it was before he came.
I would highly recommend giving Blake a call for any furnace needs, but especially if it's Carrier related. He has a lot of parts on hand and it can save time (which saves you money) if he doesn't have to leave to pickup parts.
