As with most repairs, this one ended up snowballing into a multi-part issue. The central unit stopped blowing air throughout the unit, and there was a buzzing that sounded while it was turned on.
A motor repair was needed, but a few other parts also ended up being broken. Thankfully, all the parts were in my repairmans truck, and he was a whiz who finished it all up in under an hour. Worth the week long wait for an appointment!
