I Love Kitchens

We just completed a large kitchen renovation with I Love Kitchens and after much thought, I feel compelled to write this review. The designer Hao, was great to work with, but the construction and installation process was beyond appalling. This was supposed to be a 7 week project that took 4 months to complete. The installation date was moved a couple of times, and then the kitchen ended up being delivered and installed in bits and pieces over a couple of months. We had to send the doors back twice because of poor finishing. The installer would show up for an hour or two at a time and then disappear again for a week or more. The cooktop vent did not fit in the custom range hood that was built, despite being given the proper specifications, and our own contractor had to spend a day reconfiguring the cabinet to make the vent fit. There is more, and I could go on, but in the end, the most disturbing part was the presumptive attitude and lack of accountability from the manager of this off-the rails project, and their unethical business practice of taking 95% of your money before they will deliver on the agreed upon date, and then literally within hours of cashing your cheque, informing you that they can't deliver. Very unfortunate experience.

Working with Hao at I love Kitchens is truly a pleasure. She is so resourceful, helpful and full of great ideas to ensure that you get a product you are happy with. We've gone to her countless times to make revisions to our plans and she's been patient and accommodating each time.

We had our kitchen renovated and our consultant was Farivar. He was exceptional.I am glad we had him because his demeanor is calm and collected. In renovating a kitchen, he was able to ease our worries and guided us along in our options with no pressure or time limit. He was able to provide us with new ideas and stuck to the quote to the penny! The overall experience was rewarding and flawless. We choose higher quality products and they have stood to the test. We have been telling all our friends about "I Love Kitchens" and we hope you try too!
