16 steps and 2 angled steps needed to be replaced in our townhouse. We ripped up the carpet ourselves to save on cost. Keen and his brother removed the railing and posts and redid our stairs in hardwood. They replaced the posts and stained the stairs to match. Keen even fixed up the messy nosing job another handyman came into do. I am very pleased with his workmanship and professionalism and would recommend him in the future. He always kept our budget in mind and was the most cost effective of all my choices without sacrificing quality.

Keen and Zaman did a great job refinishing our stairs and replacing pickets. Keen met with me and scoped the project and timeline accordingly and stuck to that timeline. We were concerned with safety with two small children but each day they always made sure to keep that top of mind and there were never any problems. I would highly recommend TFC Flooring.

Keen and his brother did a great job ripping out tile in our main hallway and kitchen and replaced with finished hardwood in May 2016. They also replaced our staircase handle, pickets and painted and sanded the risers. They both were professional and trustworthy. We felt comfortable with them in our home during the day without us present.
TFC provided the lowest quote compared to at least 3 other popular flooring companies from Homestars. They finished the job in approximately one week. There was a lot of dust so we stayed at our parents house during the time of work.
Overall the quality of the work on the floor and stairs was precise and neat. They were able to even out the flooring in the kitchen as best as they could and match the pattern and height with our existing hardwood in our living room. The only critique I have is that the work on replacing the quarter rounds was a bit messy; as there were nicks and staples evidently shown as well as a few areas on quarter round had drips of stains. I would have given 5 stars if every part of the flooring/stair job was looked at with the same caution. Nonetheless I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Keen.

Keen and his team did a phenomenal job transforming our dated stairs into something that beautifully compliments the rest of our home. He possessed so much knowledge, work ethic and came in at the most reasonable price of the three quotes we obtained. We enjoyed our conversations with him (fun, humorous and informative) ; but ultimately, the work completed in a timely, qualitative manner is what spoke most volumes - and we can't wait to call upon Keen when it comes time to do the floor and stairs for our basement. The nicest touch was that we had just moved into our new home with our infant and toddler. Keen's start date with us was December 21st, so the projected completion time was to be after Christmas. That being said, we chose to stay with relatives while the work was being done (safety reasons: dust, bannister and pickets removed) which tendered it an expected, understandable challenge on the family - especially the kids trying to adjust to the recent move, followed by another temporary relocation. While we thought that we would be living away from home for a full week, Keen texted us on Christmas morning with a surprise photo and Christmas greeting message indicating that we could move back home that very night. Great job, and we look forward to recommending his services to our peers!

TFC Flooring Group did an excellent job on our hardwood floor. Keen and his crew was very accommodating on the schedule. The price is very reasonable, and work they did was great. Definitely will recommend.

After receiving quotes from a variety of flooring and stair contractors, my husband and I chose to go with TFC Flooring. We had a big job of replacing all carpets with hard wood on 2 sets of stairs and complete 2nd floor, 4 bedrooms. Keen was very knowledgable and willing to share his expertise with us. He answered all of our questions, gave us lots of tips on purchasing quality wood and was very concerned about doing the job correctly, meeting building code and creating a beautiful product. He and his brother Zaman worked to keep to the estimated time frame and within the quote. They were very patient while we were having trouble choosing wood and did their best of creating a custom stain that we liked. They even worked through the cold when our furnace died part way through the job, no complaints or stoppage in work. The floor installers were very fast and did a quality job. We are very happy with our final product and Keen's high attention to detail. His goal is to keep his customers happy and he tries his best to accommodate requests or concerns. We definitely would recommend him to a friend.

We are very happy with Keen and the excellent work that he and his crew did for our stair renovation. From the beginning he was able to suggest very helpful design ideas that he followed through with. It was a pleasure having him in our home and we are very grateful for the beautiful staircase that we now have!!

Refinished all the steps and handrail, installed all new pickets and post as well as painted the stringers and risers.
