I worked with Hossein 6 years ago, back when he was with another Potlight company and I am a return customer! Hossein was warm, friendly and accommodating. We had 40 potlights installed (and a few dinner switches $40 each on top). No hidden costs, taxes all in. He showed up with his team of 3 and got down and dirty with the rest of them. Hossein treated his team with respect, and in turn they do amazing work. 40 potlights in 4 hours, the team also cleaned up. Hossein and his team also worked around my baby's nap scheduale and I overheard him reminding them to do things quietly as not to disturb the baby. I was very touched by that. He truly went above and beyond and I would not recommend any other company. His prices are competitive (actually better than most). So stop looking and call Potlight Experts. Save yourself the trouble. We will be booking him for outdoor lights next year!!

16 steps and 2 angled steps needed to be replaced in our townhouse. We ripped up the carpet ourselves to save on cost. Keen and his brother removed the railing and posts and redid our stairs in hardwood. They replaced the posts and stained the stairs to match. Keen even fixed up the messy nosing job another handyman came into do. I am very pleased with his workmanship and professionalism and would recommend him in the future. He always kept our budget in mind and was the most cost effective of all my choices without sacrificing quality.

Booking:When I called Mr. Potlight, I left a message and John called back within the next hour or so. He gave me a quote over the phone asking how old my house was and what I generally wanted done. John was able to confirm that I could have potlights installed the next morning. At 9:30am sharp, John's brother Mohammed arrived with Hussain. Service: Mohammed worked efficiently and was very kind. He asked what we wanted, did an on site consultation and confirmation. I was very impressed by the level of professionalism and expertise he had to offer. Mohammed would point out any issue and offer solutions and alternatives on the spot. He was friendly and open to questions. I can tell that he loves what he does and is very good at it. As an electrician, I even asked him if he would be able to fix my broken doorbell. Mohammed was very accommodating and gave me a reasonable rate for that repair. Everything was done within 3 hours. In addition, he showed me how to change the bulbs and gave me extra in case anything burnt out. There were no complications and both he and Hussain cleaned up quickly. They were also very respectful when walking through the house when areas were not covered and took off their shoes. Quality & Price: The rate was very competitive at $79/potlight. I cannot review on longevity of the work (will edit/update this review a few months down the road), but I am very impressed by the work and price. Both Mohammed and Hussain worked very quickly and worked well together. Overall: Recommended by a family member, before calling Mr. Potlight, I googled reviews and noticed very good comments on HomeStars. My experience echos those of others. I am very pleased with the work and absolutely loved Mohammed!! In fact, he was very approachable and easy to speak to which made the process very smooth. I would definitely recommend this service to others and would call them again for any future jobs I need done.

COMPANY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!! Terrible reviews everywhere and problems with the Better Business Bureau! RUN NOW! Calls always go to voicemail and never returned. They book jobs and never show up. They DO NOT have an office. The 7357 Woodbine address is ONLY A MAILBOX. The clerk told me they rarely check their box anyway. I DID go to the other address listed. It is a residence. Letters left in their mailbox confirm that Sam DOES live at 52 Eden Ave. Fancy house, nice truck (they were home and IGNORED the bell). Will be making a formal complain to the Ministry. Hopefully have their license revoked.
